Wife Saver - Fury’s Ferry Rd

When there are multiple locations of the same restaurant, it's hard to know which is the best. Our favorite Wife Saver is the one on Furys Ferry. The food is always hot and fresh, the service is friendly, and portions are generous. We highly recommend the chicken fingers, fried okra, and green beans. So sad they no longer offer biscuits, but the sweet rolls and crunchy hush puppies are solid alternatives. Pro top: Save yourself some time and trouble and order a fried turkey for Thanksgiving. You won't regret it!

The food was great but this review is for the young man that took our order. We came in 11/11 and this remarkable young man took our order , was working the drive thru window , and severed us our food. FREAKING AWESOME. He had the best energy and our food was great. I'm so sorry I did not get his name but I hope Wife Saver appreciates him. Whatever your journey in life be young man, we wish you the best of luck. You are going to do great things. You truly made our day. ❤❤❤❤

Wife Savers is one of our first restaurant discoveries when we moved to Georgia and is still one of our faves.
It has a large dining area making it easy for diners to spread out and have their own personal space.
I like the variety of menu items and the reasonable prices. Sometimes eating here is no higher than eating st a fast food restaurant.
The online ordering feature is terrific. Place your order, pick a time, and your food will be ready for pick up at the chosen time.
I highly recommend Wife Savers.

Oh my gosh the food was delicious the beef stew was absolutely delicious. It tasted like what my mama use to fix when I was little.

We most definitely will be back.

If you want home cooked food this is the place to go to.

Wifesaver catered our wedding reception and cocktail hour. They did an excellent job. The food was great. They were professional and made everything so easy. Would highly recommend.

Born and raised in the south and this is seriously some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! The fried okra was perfect, black eyed peas tasted like they were just picked fresh and cooked that day, pork chop fried to perfection, hush puppies were 10/10… every single thing we had down to the kids meal was absolute perfection. They also had a wonderful table with kids toys set up on one side. This was greatly appreciated by us with a busy 4 y/o.

Wifesavers food always be good, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and now they got the sweet potato pies. It's worth waiting in the line, because the food is fresh and hot. I miss sitting down and eating inside with the free refill on the sweet southern ice tea. Next time I'm going to try the fried shrimp platter. The baked chicken is delicious, but they only have the chicken breasts baked, not everyone likes thick breasts. Overall worth it.

This was our first time so we didn't know what to expect. Everyone was kind and patient with all our questions and our taking so long to order. The food was better than expected. We will definitely be back!

Delicious fried chicken 🍗 and side dishes like fried okra and turnip greens. Yummy desserts like banana pudding and pecan pie.. Very yum 😋 The dine in area is very clean too.

I've been in area a bit less than two weeks for work but I've been there four times already. I will probably go again for the last time today before heading home. The food, and especially the sides have been really good. If you pay cash it's a bit cheaper. I've gotten the fish strips twice, the chicken and dumplings once, and the chicken fried steak once. The chicken fried steak has been my favorite. Good Southern country food. Sure to please.

Had the chicken tenders, Mac n Cheese, and the fried okra to make it an adult meal.

Very nice and efficient staff. Arrived at the drive-thru just prior to closing. Food was excellent - fish and shrimp with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. Choice of cornbread, biscuit or hushpuppies. A lot of food for the money, that "single" plate fed two adults.

Reliable like the Grovetown location. Came here because the Grovetown Wifesaver was closed. Food was good and friendly service.

I love the Wife Saver. I've been eating at these restaurants since I was a child. This one was convenient to me when I visited my father. We ate there many times. I would also stop sometimes and bring food home to SC after visiting him. The food is always great.

Wife Saver, by far, has the best chicken. I love their macaroni and cheese. We usually go to the one in Grovetown, but they are closed on Monday.
