The Willcox Restaurant

5 star service from the the car to the table. Valet attendants were kind and helpful. They had a beautiful lobby with live piano accompaniment to set a beautiful atmosphere. We arrived early and were offered early seating or drinks at the bar. Our waiter, Tristan, was highly attentive and provided us with helpful recommendations for our meal choices. Everything we ate was delicious! We also appreciated the small touches of several staff commenting on our anniversary, a small note, and drinks from the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend and look forward to coming back in the future.

Our second visit and it was just as good as the first. Lollipop lamb chops were perfect. Chicken was excellent. Madison was a great server. Will definitely return.

Wonder, wonderful experience dining here. We will most definitely be back. We had a few appetizers for our brunch reservation. The bread and butter was really good as well! I would highly recommend if you’re looking for fancy dining and a nice indoor setting.

This is a beautiful, tiny, dining room in a historic hotel in Aiken. Our friends rented a home in the area so we decided to give it a try. Wow, glad that we did. Brunch was all we could get a reservation for, service was wonderful and the food delicious.

Service was superb. You will need a reservation. I was in town on a Tuesday/Wednesday and it was packed full of guests.
I only ate and didn't stay on the property but I would be worth it. If you like bourbon they should have your hard-to-find...just ask. The calamari with sweet pickles was amazing.

Ate at the Wilcox last night. The food and service was outstanding. Our waitress Natalie was on point and we were taken care of very well. I highly recommend this restaurant. BYW the drinks were off the chain. Very good bartender.

We love going to The Willcox and dining at their restaurant. It is definitely worth trying. The staff is well trained and attentive. Good martinis and cocktails. Seating can be in the dining room, or in the bar area. Highly recommend.

It's such a cool space... full of character and great service... food was delicious ... highly recommend

We stopped for lunch in the bar as we passed through town. Although its a small hotel..most of the people were locals and there for lunch. The ambiance is magnificent and warm. Once people sit down....they were there for awhile because is such a unique place. We had calamari and blt sandwich. It was good...but the expresso martini was one of the best I have had. We will be back to stay at the inn..which also has a spa.

Had the fresh catch, which was red snapper. It was excellent! Also, the lamb lollipops are delicious. The order comes with 3. Our party sat in the lobby area. Great ambiance, and the service is top-notch.

I loved this place and will be going back! To die for Korean barbecue ribs and fabulous burger and truffle fries. Scrumptious Bouvet-Ladubay, Crémant de Loire by the glass! Didn’t have room for dessert so looking forward to trying that soon! Went on a Wednesday eve and it was very busy. I found street parking but valet is a nice option. Beautiful place. Reservations are a must.

A solid 4-1/2 stars for food, atmosphere and staff. The Wilcox restaurant and bar is a worthwhile elevated dining and drinking destination for this neck of the woods. The menu might benefit from changing more often but regulars would probably be clutching their pearls.

Everything we've tried on the lunch menu is mighty fine, from the fish and chips to the fig, prosciutto, gorgonzola, arugula and pear flatbread. Their beef burger with smoked pimento cheese and bacon jam is perfection on a plate, despite my sloppy snapshot, as is the chicken liver pâté.

Never would I ever imagine I 'd bother posting anything about a salad, for cripe's sake, but their baby iceberg salad with sweet potato chips and Wisconsin buttermilk blue cheese is worthy of the f-bomb and the main purpose of these ramblings. Order it.

I had the salmon brown rice bowl & my friend had shrimp and grits. Both are delicious and the staff was delightful 🙂 lots of beautiful history

DELICIOUS FOOD for each of us! Service was so friendly and many recommendations were made by our server. She answered all of our questions and was so enthusiastic throughout the meal. The hotel itself is simply lovely (beautiful wood throughout) and historic. Being in Aiken, South Carolina, the artwork(a lot of it for sale and by local artists) heavily favored an equine theme. Will definitely return and highly recommend or anyone in Aiken-Augusta metro area.

We LOVE The Willcox! Big John makes the best drinks in all of Aiken!! Natalie was our server. Not only is she beautiful, but she is professional and personable! She absolutely made our evening. Look forward to our next visit!

Breakfast was incredible, fun cocktail menu. Dinner was good but over-the-top food creations. I wont have dinner there again but cocktails, breakfast and lunch I highly recommend!!
