I am very pleased with Dr. Mack and his entire staff. The level of professionalism is at its highest, and Dr. Mack took the time to help me adequately understand my medical options and the selected procedure, and to make me more comfortable with the necessary decisions. He is clearly at the top of his game, and I am so glad I chose him for the urological services I need.

Dr. Mack is an excellent urologist. I have been a patient of his on and off for about 8 years. He always takes the time to thoroughly discuss my problems and possible treatments. He answers all of my conerns in a manner that helped me to make informed agreements to the treatment and recovery. The treatments Dr. Mack provided were very effective. He is a healer.

Dr Mack listens and observes to assess what is the best solution for his patient. My brother has congenital mental disability and is 6’3” in a wheelchair. In 2018 up to our recent appointment, he has worked to help him without traumatizing him. His staff are very responsive and kind as well.

I'm a 75 year old male. I was searching for a urologist that worked with patients suffering with urinary incontinence. I was on line reading info about an AUS device. It's manufactured by Boston Scientific Co. They have a list of doctors they recommend to perform this surgery. This is how I discovered Dr. Darren Mack, a partner with Aiken Physicians Alliance in Aiken, South Carolina.
After a referral I got an appointment with Dr. Mack within two weeks. At the first appointment we discussed my urinary problem. I asked and answered questions. Dr. Mack thoroughly explained how the device worked and what the surgery involved.
At home I gave lots of thought about what I had learned. Having made a decision I called the doctors office and scheduled the outpatient surgery for April 23, 2024. I'm now waiting on the healing process, about 4 weeks, then the AUS will be activated or turned on. Dr. Mack is very thorough and open to any questions or suggestions the patient may have. He is very patient oriented and easy to talk to and understand.
I would recommend Dr. Mack to any person considering this surgery.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mack's for many years and before moving to Aiken in 2010, I had 2 urologists in NJ that were treating me for prostatitis, BPH, and possible prostate cancer. Dr. Mack is the most informed, compassionate and skillful urologist I have experienced. He recently performed a surgical prostate biopsy under general anesthesia and ruled out prostate cancer and is now successfully treating me for BPH. Dr. Mack is one of the best urologist in the CSRA. Its not that he is good being a physician, but that he cares for his patients. He truly wants to help them get well. This was my 3rd visit with him, and each time he has been the same. On my first visit he ordered more tests to confirm what he suspected from the initial examination. He is the most sincere and caring in his demeanor and also knows the most updated ways to take care of my medical issue.
