Wingate Augusta Washington Road by Wyndham

This is a fine accommodation in Augusta, we are here for the funeral our family took several rooms and everyone is pleased we stayed here. Staff is amazing, GM Kishan goes above and beyond to accommodate each guest. They welcomed us as diamond members. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very spacious. Lobby is big and very relaxing.

Enjoy everything. The rooms are nice. They have a good breakfast. The stuff is always friendly. Location is good because you're by all the restaurants. I love it! Can't complain.

The rooms were very clean and lots of room. All the staff was awesome. One that truly stood out was Ty. Ty did the breakfast in the mornings and not only was the breakfast good but he was super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure the guests were taken care of. He was AWESOME! I say Ty to needs a raise!

This hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I look forward to staying there my next trip to Augusta.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and great environment.

We came here after a horrific night at another hotel down the street as my husband is attending Peach Jam on business. The front desk attendant, Mr. Rahu, please forgive me if I misspelled the name, but he gave us a refreshing start to the day. They were booked and had to clean from the checkouts to accommodate us, but he was AWESOME!!! My husband had been running on minimal sleep with the events of this week and was just coming in to get some rest before going back up, and immediately checked us out of the crisis we were in. That left us leary of finding another room, but all of our fears were laid to rest after speaking with Mr. Rahu. He assured us that he would get us in as soon as possible, and he called us when he had the first available room cleaned and ready, allowing us to check in. The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. There were NO lingering smells, no trash laying around, rooms were impeccably clean and I will definitely recommend staying here. Great end to a hectic weekend😊

Great experience for a great price! We were having trouble finding something on the go as we evacuated NC for a hurricane. We were pleased to find everything we needed at this newer hotel at less than we had anticipated spending. Breakfast did not disappoint and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

We only come to Augusta twice a year and it wasn't until recently that we started staying in hotels, but this was by far the best experience. Staff were friendly and accommodating and made great recommendations on places that deliver to the hotel. Breakfast was continually stocked and much more than just your standard Continental breakfast. We will definitely continue staying here when we are in town!

I loved my stay and it was very quiet and peaceful for me but the only things I was disappointed about was the fact that I did not have washcloths but once I called to front desk I received them and it was fast. The other issue was that there were two doors hard to close and open (room door and bathroom door).

My family and I stopped here for a weekend while passing through this area. We walked in to book a reservation. We were told that it was a new hotel and we were excited to see what the new rooms looked like.
Our room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and professional - went out of their to make us comfortable especially Kristen.
There's plenty of restaurants to choose from. The area is quiet and welcoming.
We would definitely stay here again.

There are no words to describe how I feel about this hotel. As crazy as that sounds, I was blown away by this place. I've stayed in many hotels during my life, but this one tops it all. My boyfriend, son, and I had to stay here the past few weeks due to us moving. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are spacious. Absolutely professional staff. Kristen Skeens (I'm sorry if I spelt that incorrectly) was absolutely delightful to deal with. She acknowledged my son every time we saw her and always made conversation with me. That meant a lot to me as I have a lot going on right now. If I ever need to stay in the Augusta area again, I will choose this hotel!

Everything was super clean and tidy. The staff was amazing and helpful. We were in Augusta for a funeral and they went out of their way to help us in anyway possible. I will definitely be staying at Wingate the next time we are in the area. Also had an excellent breakfast (one of the best I've seen at a hotel). Five stars for this place!

In the last 2 months I have stayed in Augusta on business a minimum of 6 times for 3-4 days at a stretch. I have stayed in as many hotels due to cost because my company sets a limit. However, I think I finally found my "GO TO" hotel. I am so happy that I chose to try this hotel this time. I did it based on cost but I am so impressed. This is a new hotel, modern, clean, large room, large HD TV, the staff is friendly, great location and overall I couldn't be happier. I have a king suite and will be here from 4/24/18 - 4/26/18. The bathroom is perfect, great rates, great size, nicely lit, walk in shower (awesome), closet space, desk. mini frig, microwave, coffee maker, charging stations, the bed is very comfortable and new, the pillows are great, I have a couch and it is new. This is listed as a 2 star hotel but it is better than all of the 3 star hotels that I have stayed in here. I will be returning to this hotel when there is availability, I don't think I want to go anywhere else!! I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for affordable comfort in Augusta! Kudos Wingate!

Lewis was very helpful with any issues that arose during my stay. He changed my room without any questions when I had a small issue that I wasn’t pleased with. He also was very knowledgeable of all local restaurants or stores in the area!!

Will definitely stay again!! Beautiful rooms, close to everything we needed and the staff was amazing!! Breakfast was terrific and the hotel was new and very well kept! The housekeeping staff is so warm and kind! Thank you for our great stay!!!

What an amazing hotel! From the friendly and professional staff, to the fantastic fitness center to the delicious hot breakfast, this new hotel has it all. But what stands out the most is the 5 star bed! I have never slept better! Thank you for a wonderful experience and I look forward to staying here every time I'm in Augusta!

We came to this hotel because our initial hotel had bed bugs. This hotel is beautiful. The colors in the lobby was pretty and the color scheme of the bedroom was stunning! The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean and new! I felt very comfortable.

The rooms are great rooms and cleaned. We were very comfortable. The receptionist was very nice. There are way too may taxes and fees though. I notice a hotel fee of $5.00 and transportation fee of $1.00. I am unsure what this is all about but no one has ever mentioned it. The state of Georgia is already taxing county tax and the 10%. I don't recall ever seeing a Wingate van there so why we were charged a transportation fee I'm baffled. It just seems a bit too much for people who are looking for a place to lay their heads while visiting somewhere. All the extra taxes and fees does not help.

Pleasant experience staying at this newly renovated hotel. Professional staff with the friendly nature. Staff at this hotel knows the customer needs.Rooms are very clean and same as shown on the website. Love the fitness center & healthy breakfast. Wi-Fi connectivity was good and faster than any other hotel that I stayed in before.Location is close the the Augusta National Golf Course, Highway & all the amenities. Lots of Parking, check-in was quick and very easy to book the room with the good price. Great experience staying at the hotel. I will always stay in this hotel when in Augusta. And definitely recommends this hotel to my friends & family.

Very nice rooms , friendly staff , wife and I really enjoyed ourselves here. We stayed on 1-13-2018 and my wife dropped her credit card in the parking lot, a guest brought in to the desk and they brought it to our room. Thanks to the staff, and to the guest for what they did.
