Island Baptist Church

The 10:45 am Sunday service has by far the best live Christian music I’ve ever heard. A terrific group of musicians and singers featuring the simple yet effective combination of guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums, along with great vocals and back-up vocals, in keys that are singer-friendly. Always an excellent choice of songs that remind me of the flavorful and melodic 60’s pop tunes I grew up on, but based in praise and worship of Jesus Christ. The sound is mixed and balanced at a perfect level - never loud, and always pleasing, and the lyrics are displayed clearly on a large screen behind the band. As for the Message, it’s scripture-based and Pastor Bill is direct, down to earth, and a no-nonsense but gentle kind of guy. Pastor Greg, who is the lead vocalist/guitar player in the band, is humorous and easy going. I highly recommend checking this church out, Baptist or not; follower of Christ, or just peeking in, all are welcome.

Pastor Bill has definitely studied the Bible and goes deeper into it. His sermons are to the point and God truly does speak through Bill. God is felt through out the church

This church is Beautiful people are wonderful this is a place you feel very Blessed you need help they are here for us you need someone to talk to they are here you need gro help with utilities they are here I'm very thankful that we have a place to go when we need some one to here us and they are so so Nice to everyone

In this inflation I sought assistance on their food pantry, iam grateful and blessed that they assisted my needs. Baptist Church is the best also they help with utilities and rent for those in need. Thanks to God I didn't need assistance with rent or utilities but blessed with food. Thank you

We stopped by while visiting the island on our vacay and really had a great time. Great little bible based church. Friendly knowledgeable pastor. Will definitely come back!

Love the God centered sermons, the Tuesday Bible Study on Job (totally new perspective!) We are here for 4 months. It will be our church while we are here 🙏 ❤ ♥

They love Jesus and proclaim Him faithfully. A caring body of believers reaching out to those in need physically and spiritually. Solid, Biblical preaching and teaching and loving fellowship.

Great church to go to if you've been a Christian for years or if you just want to check Christianity out. Come a little early it fills up fast.
