We had an engine issue driving through Kelso from Canada. Spike and his team took care of us immediately. The issue was fixed in just half an hour and they did not even charge us for the service! The kindest and friendliest guys I've seen in a while! We're very grateful that they saved our trip. I definitely recommend their expertise. Their type of professionalism is a rarity.

Auto Tech is the best group of automotive technicians around. Fair and honest. If you want your car or truck fixed right take it to Spike and his crew of real professionals at Auto Tech. Between them they have years and years worth of experience working on just about everything.

Just after Christmas 2015 the battery in our car went out. We purchased a new one however after installing the battery there was a pop and nothing would work. Afraid we destroyed the car we had called Carl's Towing in a last ditch effort to get some information, they didn't know what was wrong but towed our vehicle to Auto-Tech the owner I think his name is Spike said he'd take a look at it, since it was close to new years eve he couldn't make any promises but he'd take a look. After a few hours he found out what was wrong. It was a blown fuse, he charged us less than 50 dollars. I plan on bringing back our vehicle to get the cv joint fixed. If you need something repaired I highly suggest spike and his crew at Auto-Tech.

UPDATE 6/12/2017: A couple weeks ago, we brought our vehicle in for repair work done to the CV Joint, after a few hours they had it replaced and our vehicle was running as smooth as it always had. Thanks to Spike and his crew, I'm grateful and will continue to use their business for my vehicles maintenance. Thank you Spike.

Pro: Spike is the best, he's honest to a T, he will never try to rip you off. His work is very sound.
Pro: Family atmosphere when waiting for your vehicle to be repaired.
Pro: You get to watch them do the work (From the side entrance).

Con: Just so you know, this isn't a big operation, if your expecting a speedy repair you may want to go to another repair shop. However, the time it takes is worth the repair.

I have gone to Auto Tech for years. In that time I have found the staff to be professional and courteous. I have never been misled or overcharged. They always price fairly, give me a reasonable time frame for when my car would be done.

Spike was very friendly and helpful. I was referred to him by family who have had nothing but good things to say. So we called him up and he said that he couldn't get the car in until next week but said that if we wanted we could come be and he would at least check the diagnostic codes. He was true to his word and I didn't even have to wait. He took it an extra step and told me what I could do to rule out some potential issues and went home and because of his advice was able to fix the car on my own. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest mechanic.

It is all good here! They are very honest and don't gouge on prices. I have taken my vehicles there for years and several times have gotten out for less than $50 because they find a fuse blown or a hose fell off! Other shops may make up costs but this place does nothing of the sort. They don't need to advertise simply because word of mouth keeps them very busy. Everyone has something good to say about them.

This shop is one of th most reputable & honest shop I know of. Spike is kind, professional &honest. You are scheduled an appointment if you want your car inspected for work or an estimate. No walk in's because of th constant business and scheduled appointments. I regret not having my car serviced at this shop. Had I been patient, I would not have issues with th car that I still have! I recommend Auto Tech for your auto repairs because you shall not regret the expertise maintained at Auto Tech.

Timing belt replacement 87 lebaron. Work was done properly but because reputable mechanics are few & far between there was a long lead time. If I’m not mistaken I was without my car 10 days. Rate was fair and I was dealt with professionally.
I’ve since had the steering rack replaced on my wife’s Maxima and the crank seal on the old Lebaron. Again the job was fulfilled perfectly but the lead time was minimal and the turnaround fast.
There was a time I’d spend the weekend on my back in my garage under a car and still do stuff like brakes & CV shafts , lube & oil but certain jobs are just a pain in the butt & not worth the hassle anymore.
I won’t hesitate to have Spike and his people work on my vehicles in the future and have recommended them to friends and family. Two thumbs up and five stars!

Very honest an reliable... very good about keeping the customer informed of what was wrong an what was done..if for some rare occasion they are unable to do it they will give you the best advice possible on the best place to take it they won't leave you misinformed in any way...
