Doc's Seafood and Steaks

This is the second time we've gone and both times were great! I love the relaxing atmosphere. The live music was a great addition. The food was wonderful! We tried the clam strips for an appetizer. I got the grilled coconut shrimp and my husband got the rajin Cajun burger. Everything was very good! Our waitress was wonderful

Noel was our waiter. Absolutely amazing such good service. I could only hope for.
And the food was awesome. Well priced drinks really good stuffed crab stuffed flounder, and chips and salsa was an amazing starter/side. The south has a combination of pico de gallo and regular salsa.

Visited Doc’s for the first time and we enjoyed it. We saw that they had clam chowder - being that we are from New England, home of the white chowda, we just had to give it a try. It was pretty good for non New England chowder. We also had the Cajun fries and peel and eat shrimp. Both were very good. They were some of the best shrimp that I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend all 3 of those apps. Service was wonderful. Shay was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. We had a great view as well. Would recommend to anyone!

We went here after a long day of being tourists. What a great place to hang out and relax! We read some of the reviews about slow service but our experience was exactly the opposite! Eddie was our wait person and he was awesome! Our drinks came to the table fast and our food was right behind it! Great drinks, tasty food, excellent service! No complaints at all!

All around a great place to stop in and eat. They have really good selections of seafood steaks salad and soups and so much more. I’ll post a menu below. Beautiful views of the water and inside and outside dining. We had the coastal bacon wrapped shrimp and came with rice and fresh green beans. Also had the fiesta chicken came with potatoes and fresh green beans. Topped with Avocado and pico! Had hush puppies and 1/2lb of peel and eat shrimp and seafood queso was 🔥

On vacation with my Ol' Lady we heard this was a great sunset dinner location for dinner. It was the perfect spot. Sadly the right as the sun set it was covered by clouds lol. Obviously not the restaurant's fault. Sad I feel I have to say that. We arrived about 40 minutes before sunset as I expected a wait on a weekend and was seated after 30 minutes after arriving. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was awesome, checking on us and making sure our drinks were full. We ordered Peel and Eat Shrimp to start, cold and fresh. Crab Cakes and Shrimp Po' Boy for entree. Crab Cakes were seasoned and, in my opinion, perfectly cooked. The hoagie roll on the Po' boy was perfection. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Shrimp golden and the remoulade was so flavorful. We took Chocolate Tres Leches to go and if you are a chocolate lover, you DO NOT want to miss out on it. I highly recommend Doc's for service, food, atmosphere, everything. There is even live music. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

This was an amazing experience. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. My husband and I ordered the Cajun fries as an appetizer, and we went on military Monday, so we got chips and salsa free. I ordered a Virgin Pina Colada (size was a little small, but not a game changer). I had the Crab Stuffed Flounder, and my honey had the Ahi Tuna Tacos. We also got the Chocolate Tres Leches cake. I was going to take a photo, but we got it to-go. Ate it, then remember I should have taken a photo.

The sunset was amazing tonight - great background for an excellent dinner. The Crab Stuffed Flounder was very good. Our several wad very friendly and the whole staff was very helpful.

The food was Great, beer was cold, view was very relaxing. Will definitely be back! The Crawfish bacon cheese fries Rocked as well as the Ahi tuna sandwich and my wifes crab stuff flounder!😋😋

This place was great! The staff went above and beyond, so nice. We went in the afternoon for drinks and appetizers and to sit next by the water. Chips and salsa and oysters on the half shell were both very good and the drinks were great also. The ocean breeze and watching the birds and dolphins was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

When visiting Corpus Christi we looked all over for the best surf and turf. This restaurant came highly recommend. So we wanted to check it out. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The service was good, and fitting of the mood of the restaurant. It was a little bit more on the pricey side, but not outrageous, especially considering how good the food was. If you're looking for a great restaurant to treat yourself, this is a good place to go.

Delicious! Loved the open breezy atmosphere on the water. Loved the live music. Great service. Did have to wait to be seated, group of 8, I think we got there when there had been a fishing tournament or something, on a saturday at dinner time, it was very busy?

Great food. We tried the Mahi Mahi and Red Drum specials. (Served with green beans and rice)

The food was amazing! First time here and I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone. Got to see a beautiful sunset too!! Service was great. It does get really busy so be expected to wait before you’re seated.

Doc's never disappoints! Fantastic service, food, and atmosphere. This is definitely a must stop restaurant if you are visiting Corpus Christi / North Padre Island. Our favorite is the stuffed flounder. The blackened chicken salad was pretty good as well!

Great fun! Loved the atmosphere. It's a popular place so be prepared for that but they know how to get everyone taken care of.

My wife and I stopped here during our honeymoon. This was absolutely the best seafood either of us have ever had. The service was amazing, very fast and friendly. Our cups were never empty and the server wasn't pushy. He was very patient and knowledgeable when explaining the specials. My wife had the fried shrimp platter and I had the mahi special. We split the fried cheesecake for dessert and we sat right next to the dock.

We were in town for Soccer championship and found this place hidden on the edge of the bay. AMAZING. Bacon wrapped shrimp and cream cheese. OMGAH. Beverages were ice-cold. Waitress was perfect, always smiling. What a fantastic dinner I had with my mom and my husband ❣❣❣

So these kinds of places are common along the coast. However, very rarely do they execute as well as this place did for us.

We waited a little over an hour for a table, which was exactly what was estimated by the hostess. So we wandered to the downstairs bar for a drink and to enjoy the view of the water and giant bridge coming into Padre Island.

The food was great for all of us. Perfectly cooked green beans, great rice and good seafood. Our server was quick, friendly and checked on us regularly. Our only critique is that the chips that came with the queso weren't as crispy as they should be, but it is the coast and moisture everywhere does that. Another plus is that the tables are not wedged into the dining rooms. There is plenty of room to walk and conversate without bothering other guests. We would definitely go here again.

Service was the very best there is. Annie our waitress was the best ever. She alone made us glad we chose to eat at Doc's. And then the atmosphere sitting over the water was sublime. Perfect breeze. Then the food came & we were in heaven. If you go & there's a wait!? Then just wait! It's so worth it.
