Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sweetwater, an IHG Hotel

I picked this hotel because of the swimming pool and breakfast. I was not disappointed! The breakfast had a lot of options. I particularly enjoyed the veggie egg white omelette and warm cinnamon rolls. The beds were comfy, the room a nice temperature, and plenty of pillows. Easy stop off the highway. The staff were friendly, ice cold water in the lobby, filling breakfast with to go bags. A great stay!

The traffic was horrible in that area but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was more than I expected. The customer service was top notch, the room was in very nice conditions, the smell was inviting and the continental breakfast was amazing the variety of selection quality and very clean area. So I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Kind staff. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was better than expected. Would certainly stay again.

Last night was wild, we had a close call with tornados that came pretty close to our hotel. There was some damage in our surroundings.
The night manager lady took action fast and took very good care of all the guests evacuating everyone from top floors. After the danger passed we had no power and the back up generator gave out around 1 in the morning.
Today we checked out a little after 6 and still no power. We were told that the power might be restored by noon today.
Nevertheless, she did an awesome job... And deserves a raise.

TL;DR: Perfect for road trippers who need an overnight stay to recharge and refuel before driving on that open road.
I believe the staff member who helped us was Victoria. She was accommodating and helpful with getting us checked in and situated. Unlike other Holiday Inn Express locations we have been to, we’ve been to a total of 3 on our trip, we were actually asked about our IHG membership.
The room was great! Probably the best one we’ve had if I’m comparing it to the other locations we’ve been to. Plumbing works, lights work, and the room was fairly clean. The only thing I will note is the lack of lighting on the exterior of the hotel. The sign itself is lit and so is driveway leading to the lobby for the hotel. However the parking lacks visible lighting which can be dangerous, especially at night.
Also for Tesla owners, there are EV charging stations located in the back of the hotel. Hot breakfast to start the day (though the pancake machine wasn’t working but honestly I won’t hold that against them) and we were even asked about our stay overall. One of the best nights of sleep we ended up getting. Another observation we made was as we were leaving housekeeping was already making rounds around 8:30 (we were staying on the second floor but we saw them on the first floor as well so safe to assume there was a team on the 3rd).

All the staff from front desk, housekeepers to the gentleman at breakfast are supper nice and helpful! Breakfast is great! The rooms are clean they just need a facelift, updated and a bigger TV! But still a good room! I recommend this hotel!

Room 316 nice but too loud could hear everything from everyone getting off the elevator, hall way noise

Lovely little hotel! The room was so large and comfortable! Large bathroom too! We had enough amenities and enough coffee too! I appreciated that they had the pods(they taste better to me)and not the pakettes.
The front desk employees were very nice and patient,even though they were having a few issues. If you're going to use hotels during the covid,please remember that hotel workers are human too! They have a difficult job and the housekeepers are often under appreciated. As a former housekeeper myself,I know how that feels.
I enjoyed my stay here and consider this one of the best hotels we've stayed in so far!

We booked a room here because we were too tired to keep driving for the night. Nice rooms that felt clean. I would stay here again. Love the Tesla chargers!!!!!

Amazing customer service! Would recommend them to everyone. We stopped here for the night on a road trip and our car broke down. The staff was amazing at helping us out and making sure we were taken care of! The manager even gave us a ride to a rental car place a half hour away while my baby and I hung out in the pool. They made us feel right at home and truly went above and beyond. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Over all a wonderful stay that we will not be forgetting anytime soon. Thank you!

They have comfy beds and the bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and towels. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi was warm and kids had fun swimming. They were short handed and still didn't have a problem meeting our demands. Krystopher was an awesome worker and made sure breakfast was fully stocked for the guest's. I recommend this Hotel

Ended up stopping here on our drive to Odessa. The room was very large and open and over all pretty nice. We got a king size bed which was great and very comfy. The shower was nice but the tub itself was not too impressive. I recommend parking in the back. The door there is right by the elevator and the breakfast buffet. The food was still warm when we left right before it closed.

I can't even believe how amazing the staff was here in Sweetwater! We felt right at home! Tammy is an amazing person, genuine, professional, and just made our stay complete. She deserves a promotion! We were exhausted after a 12 drive in from Colorado Springs. Tammy welcomed us kindly and was very hospitable. Holiday Inn Express is truly fortunate to have her. We will stay here again, and will tell all our friends. I'm an Army brat, and not easily impressed with hotel stays after multiple moves. We arrived without reservation, at an off hour, outside of normal hotel scheduled check in times, and she made it simple for us to get comfortable. Other area hotels were not answering their phones, or even available in the lobbies. She really knows how to serve the military community and beyond. I work at USAA, and I'm now a Holiday Inn Express member for life! I look forward to any future stays after my interactions with Tammy. Thank you for your exceptional service, attention to detail, and down to earth personality!! Room was clean, breakfast was fresh, and just overall best experience.

No problems, everything was clean and well maintained. Front staff was courteous. They had HBO in the rooms. My favorite thing was the "grumpy bear" kit for if you're having trouble sleeping... It included a sleep mask, ear plugs, chamomile tea and a couple Unisom. Great for if you have trouble sleeping in a weird place or can hear the highway noise.

Stayed here with my family a couple days and my kids absolutely loved it. While the pool was not big it was good enough for the kids to have fun in. I loved the hot tub. They had big comfy beds and a decent free breakfast.
Overall a good place to stay.

The rooms were very nice and in good shape. The Television had many channels to choose from. The pool and exercise room are very nice. The hotel is placed in a very convenient location for people who just want to get off the road for the night. Right next to the hotel is a restaurant that serves good food.

3rd Holiday Inn this week and this one was the best! Coming from the Holiday Inn in the Grand Canyon this one was much nicer. They still provided K cups, lotion, makeup remover without one having to ask for them. That makes all the difference when you arrive exhausted from driving all day! Breakfast here with omelets vs biscuits which was a nice change. Even the lobby was cute with St. Patricks day decorations :)
