Highly recommend a stop at this store. The owner, David, was very friendly & knowledgeable. He has a great mix of souvenirs & essential. He made us feel welcomed & we could have spent the entire day talking with him. We liked the store so much that we made a second stop before we left to go back to Ohio.

Fantastic store, and the owners were super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them! They have a great mix of locally made items, books, and hatfield mccoy merchandise. Definitely a great stop when in Matewan!

If you’re planning a trip to Matewan, make sure to stop in to this fun and unique store. There are some great books and interesting items for sale and the shop keeper is fascinating to talk with.

The gentleman working here was a wealth of knowlege of local and mine history. They have interesting, local made items. I got a company money necklace with a coal wv pennant. They have sauces and canned items too.
