Julio's Mexican Restaurant

We got there a little before 8, and they told us to come in and eat even though they close at 8:30. Service was great, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was inviting. They never rushed us out. We will be visiting more often.

Not gonna lie, my wife and I weren't impressed by the look of the food but the taste of the food were a whole different story. We love the quesadilla and enchiladas from this restaurant! This place is a 10 out of 10!

Great little gem hidden away in old downtown Chico. (The staff was very COViD conscious. It was appreciated.) Restaurant was neat and clean while the staff were welcoming and attentive. Menu has a good selection of Tex-Mex and a few more traditional Mexican dishes. We had the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas and Julio's Parillada. Both were Excellent! The Parillada was a lot of food for one person...it's like an extended Fajita plate with chicken, beef, sausage, and shrimp. Food was hot and very, very tasty. Chips were thicker and held up to the salsa and guacamole...it was all fantastic. Its definitely at the top of our list because you just can't have too much Mexican food!

Julio's Mexican food is the best around. It is not greasy like other Mexican food places. The cooks are awesome and the tamales are wonderful! It is a very nice, quaint place on the square in town. Friendly people run this business, and the service is outstanding.

the food is consistently amazing. the service is great. I love going here. It is the best Mexican food in the area hands down. Everything on the menu is good. They make great enchiladas, chili relleno, tortilla soup, fajitas, flautas, the salsa is outstanding... I love it

Nestled on Town Square on the corner a quiet dining experience is to be had. Good chips and really good salsa. Decent prices. Good sweet tea.

Love that Chico has more then just a Hot Box at the local Gas Station, yes. But the food is always great, and plenty of it too. The service has always been excellent. And the prices are even better! Definitely worth the drive from anywhere in Wise County.

Always love coming here, they know my order by heart because I always get the same thing, can't wait to come back and grab some more delicious grub. They also have the best salsa 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Anyone that doesn't give Julio's 5 stars doesn't know what the heck they are talking about. Excellent Mexican food served by a friendly staff. The restaurant is in the old firehouse.
