Coney Island Cafe

Take me back to the 60's. I ate at coney island for the first time in the early 60's and these new owners have brought back the feel, smell, atmosphere, and taste of my childhood. Relax and enjoy eating the delicious dogs and pies. The pie is just like your grannies sunday best.

I think this place is awesome. Their chili is VERY good. I had the chili cheese coney, the frito chili pie, the chili with cornbread ad their stew with cornbread. All are GREAT. I highly recommend.

Whenever I am in Pampa I always stop and have a chili dog. They never disappoint! Plus with eight kinds of home baked pie I also always have to get a slice.

If you want an old time delicious coney dog smothered in chili then this is your place! This is an old time diner in scenery and food quality! The food is delicious and made from scratch. The homemade chili is traditional Texas Red and is delicious. Hamburgers, hot dogs, double baked ham sandwiches and at least ten different kinds of homemade pies…even the crust is homemade! I order my holiday pies from here and it is worth driving 40 miles to get them. It’s a dive with yellow Formica countertops and bar or booth service in downtown Pampa, TX. And the lemonade….yum! And you can’t beat the prices!

Best chili dog I've ever had, pretty good hamburger with chili too.If you ever in Pampa texas definitely eat here.

old school atmosphere! waitresses are friendly. and the food is always delicious!

Good dogs in funky, old-timey cafe. Young guys are really helpful and some older servers are charming as they struggle with a new tablet ordering system.

The Coney is back on point! The stew, egg sandwich, chili, chili cheeseburgers, oreo cheesecake, egg custard, and pecan pie were all delish! Thank you for the wonderful service!

Great food, great prices, and really great diner vibe! Hard to find a place like this anymore.

Wednesday special Beans and Cornbread. Absolutely fantastic!!!! Better than mother's I think ( sorry mom).

Great Experience! The cook prepares your meal right at the counter. Best part was the pie. I think the restaurant purposely does not serve sides so there is always room for dessert. Very friendly server Hannah...We will be back!!

And 1 year later we are back!! The PIE IS INSANE!!! Love this place. See ya next year😍.

If you don't appreciate the Coney Island Cafe just move away from home for a while. Coming home IS the Coney!

Love, love, love!!!! This original diner from the 30's has all of its charm and original counter, stools and fixtures. This place exudes charm!

Great food and staff too!! A must see if you're ever in the Texas Panhandle.

Loved the atmosphere. Im not a huge fan of chili which made food just ok. Wish they had a couple of tables instead of tiny booths. A bit cramped if more than 2 in a party

Coney Island is a staple in Pampa Tx and I will always recommend it to anyone passing through! My family and I have been eating here since I was little and never have we had a bad experience. Great food, great service and a cozy atmosphere. Forever one of my all time favorites!

Love eating here! The staff is exceptional! The food was delicious! And that cherry cheesecake was eaten first so I could enjoy it before the food was delivered to our booth!

First time at Coney and although it wasnt what I expected as far as level of food, but it definitely was tasty and price was very good! This is one of those old timey places that had a welcoming atmosphere. This is for sure a kids favorite place to eat because they would not turn their noses up to a great hot chili dog or chili burger. Will have to try their desserts next time!
