Love's Travel Stop

Love's win again! A great gas station and shop. Very clean. Very organized. Gas prices are pretty good. Take a look at these pictures. This store offers everything. I could not believe the the sandwich section. Bathrooms were very clean.

Always employees are friendly. Very clean restrooms. Reasonably priced food and fuel. Worth the trip. And never ever a bad experience in all Loves truck stops. And this one has a dog park too. And places to sit down and picnic too. Worth the trip for us and others.

So after my good experience with the Love's in Ft Stockton, I ended up having a flat tire and had to stop at this location in Van Horn. This location was so customer friendly I was quite impressed! The tech, Nick, is wonderful. The company should definitely celebrate him as an asset. Nick worked with me and even taught me how to back up my truck and trailer! He never made me feel self conscious at all, in fact when I revealed that I was self conscious about my ignorance inre backing up he had a nice antidote that eased my embarrassment. He had an amazing way of completing work for all his customers at once and kept it straight!
I saw the workers all looked pleasant as if they are happy to be at work. Best customer service is in this shop!

The fueling and parking is annoying because it's tight. It's a hassle when crowded but manageable if patient and people do what they need to do.

Now the repairs, that's different. Personally, I dropped my trailer in order to bobtail. It's extremely tight so I made that sacrifice. I don't know what they make you do if the trailer needs maintenance, but I'll say this. They work and they break down what needs to be done in repairs. If they can work on it, they will. Otherwise, of course they're limited. Even if the tech is capable of repairs, business is business and Loves has to protect themselves and their reputation to not do extreme repairs. It's understandable.

Small parking lot. But there is parking cross the street in the gravel. So depends what time you get here. It’s only 4 showers so get ready to wait! Only 5 pumps for diesel. They have a subway. Quick service

Incredible experience at Love’s while drive across southern Texas. Car battery died at the pump. Simon, Liam and Tony came out and gave great customer service! They tried to jump us. After the jump didn’t take they called the auto store, found us a battery and installed it for us. All free of charge! The team was knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. After today, we will always stop at Love’s!

So impressed by the Love’s customer service today! Our cars battery died at the pump. Without asking, they brought us out water and helped us jump the vehicle. The car wouldn’t jump, but they called to get us a battery and installed it for us for free! Simon, Liam and Tony really made our day with their incredible customer service. We are life long Love’s customers after today!

The road work around the store is horrible and caused a lot of back up and congestion on the service road. Thank God for the guy in the cowboy hat directing traffic, getting all the trucks out of the way. The Subway at this location was fabulous, my "sandwich artist" made me the best looking sub sandwich I've ever had and her attitude put a smile on my face...

Decently clean bathrooms, a bit disorganized at the cashier, no clear lines, but the best part is this location is the dog park. I had never seen this at a gas station, it was nice that they make some space for our furry ones.

Little fridge in the center is not working so no salads or dessert cups.

Great place for a Subway sandwich! 😋 I stopped by here en route to El Paso, Texas for a business trip.

Liam with the emergency tire shop was awesome. Even though he wasn't able to help us due to type of vehicle. He looked up #s for tire shop & towing businesses. He asked if we were safe & if we needed anything. Absolutely wonderful service & a credit to Love's of Van Horn. Thank you so much Liam we really appreciated all your help, assistance & courteousness.

This place always has hot food and 24hr subway. Good place to stop in the middle of the night if your hungry.

We were on a vacation and I accidentally threw away our souvenirs at this location. We drove back and they had already emptied out their big trash cans to the dumpster. I asked if I could search the dumpster to find the items and they gave me the green light. Liam was kind enough to come out there with a shovel and gloves to help us out. For that, Liam, you made our journey memorable because we gained our items that we lost. Thank you so much, keep up the good work.

This is the first Loves that I have ever been to that has a great management team and is very efficient, they had their mechanics all busy but the used the folks they had to work my truck in while they worked on bigger projects. Most loves can not or will not multitask they just work on one and that's it, this loves used every minute. PERFECTION

I can’t begin to put into words how grateful my family and I are for this Love’s and their workers. They saved us on a summer Sunday in 100+ degree heat when our minivan got a flat tire while moving. They drove 4 hours round trip to get a new tire and replaced it for free. They supplied us with water and food. Amazing humans. Faith in humanity is restored with people like this

Richard and Rebekka (Loves #256) are truly a blessing who were sent from Heaven above. My daughter was stranded in Fort Davis Texas for 12 hours. They were so kind to drive her to another shop to get a tire for the Penske truck she was driving and install the tire for no cost. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Thank you so very much for helping my daughter who arrived safely to her final destination. Thanks for providing exceptional customer service.

4/15/23 0840hrs had a road call for a steer tire from this location an wanted to say thanks to the service tech that came out an did quality work an was a pleasure to deal with.
