Fantastic Service on Incredibly Short Notice

I received notification that one of my large clients (who has also become a good friend) mother had passed away. When I inquired about the viewing and funeral, I was informed the viewing was taking place in a few short hours (Thursday evening) with the funeral taking place the next day (Friday morning). I reached out to Tinkers Chest as services were being held at Deerfoot Memorial nearby. Tinkers was literally within minutes of closing. I took a shot and was blessed that Teresa answered the phone. When I explained my situation, she informed me that they would accommodate my request and put an arrangement together immediately and have it delivered prior to the viewing. I was blown away. While I was hoping to receive this type of service, I knew it was a long shot and I was so impressed to find a company that truly cares about it's customers needs. I will be forever grateful to Tinkers for going above and beyond which allowed me to pay my respects to a client and most importantly a good friend during her time of need. Thank you for providing such amazing service. It is truly a lost art these days and I am thankful for everything you did for me!! Choose this company for all of your floral needs! They truly are a step above the rest!

I've ordered flowers a number of times from Florida (so sight unseen) to be delivered in the Trussville area. The arrangements have always been beautiful. The staff has always been very helpful and delivered a quality of service and product. Thank you!

Received a surprise delivery of a beautiful fresh table arrangement yesterday. Fresh roses, lilies, poms, alstroemeria and mini carns in a square glass container that was bright and tastefully arranged. Thank you for calling about delivery.

Beautiful arrangements

I was surprised with flowers yesterday. A friend ordered them for me and they were supposed to have delivered two days ago. A worker from the building up from my job brought over a vase of FROZEN flowers in solid ice that was left sometime after THEY closed at 4:30pm the day prior. They were left at the incorrect address, in front of a closed empty building, and left to freeze in 28 degree weather. When my friend called, they refused to replace them or offer a full refund. I hope nobody else goes through what we have been with what was supposed to have been a sweet surprise and ended up being a catastrophe due to someone being neglectful and refusing to take ownership of their mistake.

I ordered Southern Living Collection flowers for my mother for Mother's Day from 1800 Flowers and Tinkers Chest was the local florist that prepared and delivered the flowers. Tinkers Chest delivered her someone else's flowers! While I tried to contact 1800 Flowers my mother called the local florist who delivered the flowers and they asked her to sit the flowers outside this morning. So I assume they planned on swapping out the misdelivered flowers that have sat in someone else's house overnight. During a health crises! When she was finally delivered the correct order, nothing about the flowers were what I had ordered. I paid for a $70 bouquet, instead she got a bouquet with 3 roses and a bunch of junk, filler flowers. I could have gotten a better arrangement at Costco. I'm reaching out to 1800 Flowers for a full refund. I would never willingly order flowers from here based on this experience.

My wife’s best friend from Colorado ordered flowers for her 70’th birthday. We waited all day when they were promised and they never came or noticed us?? Then the next day when they arrived they were nothing like her friend had ordered?? An hour later my wife received a bouquet from Mary’s Bouquet and they were absolutely beautiful, a huge difference in both flowers and service. I would never recommend Tinkers, never.

The people running this business are fully aware they are not making the arrangements with the correct types or numbers of flowers and plants. They also use cheap vases that do not even resemble display images. I ordered flowers for my mother for mother's day through 1-800-Flowers. It was a large sized, $70 arrangement. However the arrangement they made had literally half the flowers it should have. The arrangement was sparse and amateurish. The flower types were not spread evenly through the arrangement, but shoved in as clumps of each type. The heights of the stems were varied based on the type of plant, so the clusters stuck out in groups from each other even more. They used gawdy filler leaves that were not even supposed to be part of the arrangement to try to disguise how thin the arrangement was. And on top of all this, the flowers they did use did not appear fresh and were unattractive. I contacted 1-800-Flowers and got full refund after supplying images of the arangement. It didn't make it any better though as my mother's day gift was a disappointment. This company does a poor job and as you can see from the other reviews here, they'd rather argue with someone after driving through their yard, telling the poor customer how they should have handled it, rather than simply being sorry and dedicated to doing a better job. Avoid at all costs or use at your own risk. Grocery store quality arrangements at high dollar prices, poor customer service, and a general lack of concern for the experience they are providing for the customer or the people receiving the arrangements. Sadly I've lost faith in 1-800-flowers for still using this company as a local vendor after seeing how often others have had the same sorts of issues with them.

I ordered flowers thru 800Flowers and they went to our local florist (this company) and they looked nothing like the image from the website. Two types of flowers were missing, there was no baby breath, there was a missing bow and the dimensions were way smaller than advertised. I am VERY disappointed and it ruined the surprise for the person I got them for. The flowers are also dying already and it's been less than 24 hours since received.
