Very cool. I’ve passed by this place a thousand times and just took the time to stop today. Looks like a great place to go swimming. There’s a set of stairs going down to the river from the old bridge.

I like it here nice walk and great hiking area. Benches and good parking. Old bridge was turned into a walk way. Beautiful area.

Usually use this spot to get in to float down the river on inner tubes. NOTE: Any time after May 1st, the water will more than likely not be high enough to float the entire way unless you catch it right after a good rain but the water will also be muddy and full of debris.
Kings Bend Overlook Park gives one a great view of the river and the rock stairs leading down to the water have various flowers and other native plants labeled to educate the passer bys by the Friends of the Locust Fork River.

Finally stopped to see this place after driving by it several times. Its beautiful and set up so nice! We hiked for a long time and did a little fishing and exploring. Great way to spend the afternoon!
