UPDATE: Tried the Horseshoe Cheesy Chicken. Hot digity dog! Fantastic! So much good food one can barely finish their plate! HOLD THE DOOR! WE DIDN'T FINISH OUR PLATES! Not that I didn't try!
Our waitress was so busy and yet we never had a wait on our food, drinks or ordering! Super impressive!

Original review: Very good tacos! The hard shell tacos were robust way better than any fast food!

We have been coming here for almost 25 yrs. Never lets us down! Always good food and good peoples. BEST Horseshoes/Ponies around, and the Burgers are so juicy!!!

First time at Jackson's and I gotta say that I'm really impressed! My grilled chicken sandwich was really, really tasty and juicy, and the you can never go wrong with the cheese curds! Friendly staff and great, quick service! I'd definitely visit again "and order the same food too 😊"

Fast and friendly service. Got the Reuben ponyshoe per the recommendation of the waitress. It was delicious.

The staff are quick and courteous. The food is terrific, it's usually a full house. The only negative comment is the restroom, very small and the floor is uneven.

Garden burger is very tasty, and you can get it as a horseshoe or pony!

Waiter said he didn't know if my wife and me could really eat a full order of the onion rings boy was he wrong even said he shouldn't have questioned us.

Oh my gosh what can I say!? We will get greeted when we came in we sat down we got drink orders ASAP the food came out hot and in a timely manner. Chelsea was our server and was amazing... Both she and the bartender or so attentive it was so very refreshing

Wonderful....no onion rings tonight..got there to late sooo we tried the cauliflower wonderful..I'm watching what I eat so tried the grilled chicken amazing and the tenderloins looked amazing as always <3

The food was delicious. My tenderloin was tender and flavorful and just the right size. The onion rings were delicious. My husband had a cheeseburger and it was very good. We recommend this place.

Always amazing!! Food, service, and ambience are all top notch!! Definitely worth a visit! Have the horseshoe...best in town!!! And the tacos/nachos are absolutely amazing!!!

One of the very best burgers in town! Ambiance is so fun and relaxed, owner and long time friends at The Pub are going to wait on you and treat you like family. Go, order anything but make sure you get some fries and enjoy!

Got my BA at WIU and lived down the street from the pub. I now live in the suburbs of Chicago and have yet! To find a burger as memorable as those from Jackson Street Pub. I miss it!!

Been the spot since I was a little one. Best service and best burgers in town hands down. Love the small feel and the decorations. Will pick this place over any other restaurant in town.

Great food, Server was extremely pleasant and attentive to our request when we customized our ponies. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be returning customers!

One of my favorite local haunts for a beer in college and still fantastic over 20 years later. Horseshoes are excellent- tenderloin is my personal favorite.

I was in Macomb, IL and decided it was a good day to stop by Jackson Street Pub for lunch. I decided to order and enjoy a hamburger horseshoe with waffle fries, cheddar cheese sauce, two hamburger patties on two pieces of white bread, and I added grilled onions. Being a WIU alumni class of 2006, I hadn't had a horseshoe in a very long time, and it was just as good as I remembered! If you are looking for good affordable food in a cozy atmosphere and a good sized menu, I highly recommend Jackson Street Pub!

Had the best burgers ever! Food fast and hot and had amazing flavor. Great wait staff, courteous and welcoming! Definitely on our list to return.

If you want great food, this is the place to go for it. This bar is known for their ponies, horseshoes, and homemade onion rings. It also has a very family friendly atmosphere so bring the kids. The owner and staff are the best. #localfood
