Wow! Really cool book store. It has lots of rare books and this place has a lot of personality. Al the owner is extremely nice and helpful. If you are looking for something specific just have a conversation with Al. I will be back there for sure. Also Al told me he is going to start having events there like someone talking about Stamp collecting and coin collecting just to name a few.

This is such a beautiful store! It’s definitely my new favorite bookstore. It’s the perfect size- you find new gems every time you visit, but it isn’t too overwhelmingly big. There are so many gorgeous antique books in pristine condition everywhere you look, and everything is reasonably priced. It’s definitely a treasure trove. Al is so kind and helpful. I highly recommend!

My husband and I adore coming to Casperson’s on date nights! Every year we stock up on gifts for every family member during the Christmas season! Such a variety of books, so many treasures up stairs and down stairs - you have to check it out!!! Ask about the gift certificates as well - our son looks forward to his every year!!! <3 This is truly a gem in Niles!

We loved this bookstore!! such a wide variety of antique and new books. I went in with my 3 boys all ranging in ages from 18-9 and we were all able to find something to read. clean store. Knowlegable owner. So glad we found it!!

Casperson's Book is a true hidden gem in this area. Much like the books that line the walls. Filled with historical texts, and an array of subjects; you cannot walk out without a good read in tow. Specializing in rare and old books this place is a must-see. Previously located on Main St. It constantly feeds my reading needs!

Stopped in to this bookstore after dinner on a whim with a few friends, and I’m thrilled we did! Casperson’s Books is a delightful bookstore with lots of classics and goodies I adored sifting through— and had lots of comic books and such that my husband was thrilled to find as well. The gentleman who owns the shop is absolutely charming, and I’m sad we don’t live closer. But you can bet we’ll be back the next time we’re in Michigan!!

Amazing bookstore! Once you begin looking for books you could easily spend hours just looking at antique books by your favorite authors. This store has a calming atmosphere and a great selection of books. I can’t wait to come back to buy more incredibly fascinating, interesting, and awesome books!

Too often when buying rare older books you kinda have to roll the dice and hope for the best as to what you might actually get. So overwhelmed with my recent purchase with Casperson's Books. Above and beyond what I expected.

The guy was super nice and had a bunch of old books that you can’t get anywhere else I picked up the pentagon papers and a book about us strategy in Europe during the Cold War. This place is exactly what a book store should be.

Indeed one of the great bookshops in our region! Unique selection of used and rare books in a wide range of area and even BETTER there is a large warehouse of backstock that allows the owner to do extended searches for the customer!!! I will also make note this important add: the shop hours are open till 7:30 pm on most nights-allowing customers the ability to make purchases even with a hectic schedule which is critical!!! PERFECT example of a bookshop built to house the best stuff!!!! I have NEVER left disappointed. Worth your Niles, MI visit!!!!!

Very nice, small, unique book store. Owner was very friendly and kind. Well organized sections with some very nice book collections in the main room. Nice selection of comics and other books in the basement.
