The Red Fork

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch around 3pm. The menu states the dinner items on the menu are available after 4pm, so keep that in mind. There are a smaller number of items on the menu than some places, but still a good variety. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was prompt and out food came out quickly. The quality was great, but the portions were on the smaller size in my opinion. Overall it was a great experience and we will have to return for dinner some time. It cost us $32 for both of us for lunch, including our soft drinks.

Lemon chicken OH MY!!! The best of the summer menu. It will be sorely missed when it is time for the fall menu. Always something delicious to try!!

I met my friend for lunch at the Red Fork, and it was my first time eating there, and the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for, it was the perfect, quaint diner! We both started with coffee that was freshly brewed. I had the Karen salad and it was delicious! My friend got a wrap, I forgot the name of it, but she loved her meal as well. We both devoured everything, no to-go bag for either of us. Our server was also very kind and attentive. I would highly recommend the Red Fork.

Great variety in the menu and one of the best places I've dined in a long time. Ordered a pizza for pickup one night, had a late lunch another day, and tried their brunch menu on a Sunday. All three meals were fantastic and I would have gone back even more during the week if they had been open!

Great food great service. Must visit if your in neighborhood. The breakfast test great with larg portions that fit a larg person like me.

Two, no: four thumbs up on today’s special: crab cake Benedict!! I need this recipe… or at least have it on your menu more often. Super delicious, and so much food! Sorry for the photo: I couldn’t stop eating the first crab cake before finally taking this pic

Ventured out on a limb tonight and decided not to play it safe. I ordered the Wacky Waffles. This dish was so good that I want to go back tomorrow and get it again🤤 It’s a couple of potato waffles with fried chicken, avocado, red onion and tomatoes then drizzled with a southwestern sauce and habanero sauce and I ate it all. Service was great too. Go here! 👆

Atmosphere could definitely use so updates but don't let it fool you. The food is off the chain good! I got the Avocado Bacon Eggs Benedict and my husband got the hash but we will be back asap to try the other amazing offers on the menu. The dinner menu looks dope as well.

The breakfast was FANTASTIC. You can tell the cook knows what they are doing and doing it with pride. Please do yourself a favor when your in the area or passing by on your way to Mac city you won't be sorry.

I had the Waffle + Hen. Seriously, one of the best things I've ever eaten. The chicken breast was juicy and crispy, the waffle had little sugar crystals in it...so good. And the maple gravy was unexpected in a good way. It was amazing. If you like chicken and waffles, I highly recommend!!! So good! 🙌🏼

Beautifully decorated but still had that soft diner feeling.
Bit if a wait on the food but absolutely worth it. Breakfast was delicious and filling but still very light on the stomach (including my husbands breakfast burrito)
Also the BEST hollandaise I have ever had, so creamy but not super thick and $12??

Will definitely be back next time we come up north!

This place is a hidden gem on the trip to l/from Up North. Fantastic breakfast and very attentive service, all for a reasonable price.

Definitely recommend for a pitstop!

Food was delicious. The pizza was some of the best I ever had in Michigan.
Prices were fair/to be expected in a small, up north summer resort town.
Give them a try.

There is no better place to eat in Alcona. The breakfasts on Sunday are outstanding. The service has always been friendly. The wine list magnifique.

My boyfriend and I just had breakfast at the Red Fork and had an amazing time. The food and service were perfect. The portions were big, the quality of the food was excellent, and the waitress was so nice and friendly. Before we left, we were already talking about coming back to try their dinner. But just a heads up - we visited at the end of April and I'm not sure if their hours change throughout the year, but at this time, they were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and only open until 2pm on Wednesday.

Every good thing you've heard about this place is more than true. I got the Hangover burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. If you're in the area, it's a must stop. If you aren't in the area, you need to make your way over.

Very friendly atmosphere! I had my autistic son out for dinner with us, and all staff and guests were completely unphased by his occasional noise making and stimming. The food was also delicious and was served super quick. 10/10 would recommend!

The food here is delicious! Quality ingredients, portioned well and cooked to perfection. I was there on a Sunday with my sister and we are impressed. No wait and we got our food hot and fast. I enjoyed the special, sweet potato pancakes and a side of bacon. It came with pecans and honey butter. My sister had a skillet breakfast with marbled rye toast. Both picture perfect. I ordered another side of bacon to go it was so good!

Food was excellent. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Best breakfast in the area.
