Baraga Lakeside Inn

My husband and I spent the night in the king size and balcony room. The view was beautiful! The room was super clean and large with a modern twist. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

The staff was super nice and friendly. Philly cheesesteak and ribeye steak was delicious. Rooms were clean and handicap friendly. Beautiful lakeside views. Will definitely stay again I recommend this hotel 100% great stay

This was my first time eating here. The place was very clean and well decorated. The ladies at the front desk were cheery and welcoming. Our waitress was professional and attentive. The food was terrific. We will be back. Thank you for lunch!!

I stayed here three times over the last 2 weeks. Amy at the front desk was super sweet. Rooms were very clean and it was nice to have a restaurant in the motel.The only thing that I was not super fond of was the balcony rooms As they are connected to other rooms making the door A bit Noisy from The Neighbor Next Door you can hear everything they're saying. Still a five-star place.

I was debating on the star situation. We got in at 8, your restaurant already closed, so we just went up to the room to change into warmer clothes and head out to the one open place in town to eat. We walked into the room, the beds were unmade. We walked back out and downstairs. We were told there was only that room and a room with a wet carpet. No housekeeping. We went to eat and they promised to fix it. We got back and it was fixed, looked great, smelled great, very clean! We got a rebate, and they were very apologetic. I just wish it had gone smoother so we could have enjoyed the amenities. The hot tub looked nice, but I was exhausted by then. We were going to have breakfast in the morning, but let them know your there when u seat yourself as we were overlooked. Then we left because they only had one server, so breakfast was taking awhile! The views from the room are great and the staff is really nice!!

Great stay!! Beds are comfortable, had handicap room which was fully equipped for handicap. Walk in or wheel in shower removable shower head with adjustable holder.
Restaurant with bar, Gym, laundry room sitting room. I was really impressed. Very reasonable pricing.

I hit a deer, my car was totaled. I was on my way to Minnesota but ended up spending 4 nights here waiting to get a rental car in Marquette. The facilities, customer service, gym, and restaurant were great. They had a working sauna, pool and hot tub that were very relaxing. Although it was not a planned stay I am glad I got to experience this really good hotel. I would definitely stay here again! I also enjoyed the peaceful views of Lake Superior.

Loved having the bat and restaurant right downstairs.
The rooms were very nice. One was remodel, one wasnt, but they were equally nice.
The patio and fire pit were very nicely decorated and put together. Not much of a beach, but the indoor pool solved all that! 5 stars!

Absolutely lovely place and room. We had our van get stuck in reverse during our vacation and we needed a place to stay for the night and this was in walking distance. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you for being so kind!

I reserved a conference room for a dinner meeting that met my satisfaction. The meal was good and the wait staff was friendly and helpful.

We are half way through a 6 night stay here and have a king room up on 3rd floor. Everything was very clean and fairly stocked as far as towels and such. There was only 1 small bottle of shampoo but wasn't a problem to get more from the front desk. I will admit, I cringed when I heard we were on top floor until I seen the elevator. It was a blessing.
The TV was a very nice 50 inch and channel selection was very good. We had a recliner in the room that was very comfortable along with the view of the bay. Only downfall was the coffee pot was always running empty near entrance of restaurant. As busy as this hotel is daily. Almost need to upgrade the small coffee table to a buffet table and possibly add a second pot or maybe a staff member to watch it more closely in morning times. But definitely not a deal breaker.

Beds are very comfortable, air conditioning very quiet, food very good at the restaurant and the view on the lake. Casino near by. Total package. Bring alcohol with you. Good good good. Amen!

My son and I are taking a few days in the UP to visit my Alma Mater (Go Huskies!) and explore the Copper Country before school starts. Hotel prices in Houghton are ridiculous. Luckily we found the Lakeside Inn. The room isn’t overly large but big enough for two queens, a table, dresser, and a mini fridge/freezer and microwave. The room is CLEAN. I travel for work and use all the major hotel chains-the cleanliness is usually lacking even in the more expensive hotels. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re up here next.

Pretty impressive for a UP hotel. Some of them are hit or miss. This was a hit. Im likely to return in the future. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice big tv, love the jacuzzi tub, and there is a cool little bar on the main floor. The shower was amazing but im only 5'8 and felt like a giant in there lol but didnt bother me none. I had a little lake view room and it was just all in all a great place to stay.

We stayed here recently for a 4 day weekend. The area is absolutely stunning. This hotel was clean and the room was large, we got a king suite on the bay side and the view was spectacular. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, right down to the cleaning staff who’s beautiful smile started each day for us. Felt like we were welcomed home for a nice long weekend. Oh! And the restaurant was so good! Try the shrimp Alfredo it’s made from scratch 🤤. Can’t wait to come back

The staff were professional and polite. Our King deluxe room had a great setup and very clean. The restaurant was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered from the beef dip, to breakfast food and pizza was great! Pool, sauna and hot tub were neat and tidy, my daughter swam like a fish! I highly recommend this place and we look forward to our next stay! Beautiful view of the sunrise when you get a lakeside room ❤

The restaurant is top of the line. Especially the Reuben sandwich. The view of the lake is awesome

Phenominal place to stay! From the first foot in the door the staff was amazing. Food is delicious and not super expensive. Plenty to do in the area for free ! Come back from sightseeing to the pool and hot tub. Evening and morning views gave us great photos that are going on the walls! Room was clean and more than enough towels.

Great hotel with a great view of the lake. They also have a nice indoor pool and hot tub and sauna.
