I have the privilege of speaking with Lindsay today. She was super helpful and went out of her way to look for a document for me. I could not ask for better service and effort. Keep up the good work.

I have to say all I heard was nightmare stories about the building process Cowlitz county, from septic design to permitting and inspections. Going into this process was not excited about that but was delighted to find helpful people in the office helpful inspectors on the job site and septic questions that were quickly answered. I am not sure what happened to the people that warned me about the process or whether something changed in the administration of building and planning but all I have to say this was a smooth painless process I wanted to give thanks to everyone that works there for helping me through building my own home

The folks at Cowlitz County Building and Planning have been extremely helpful in every part of the homebuilding process. Every person that I've dealt with there has been very friendly, and seem to go above and beyond to answer any question I've had for them.

Obviously there are lots are rules and conditions to follow with projects but I've always found them very helpful and tolerable with my silly questions!

We've had a good experience with everyone during the course of several projects.

Ive dealt with nothing but nice helpful people down here. Yes permits aren't fun but the people here are really friendly and helpful.

Closed on Fridays! Guess people dont have business to conduct on Fridays. Their website is horrible and is down so you cant even get information that way either.

If I could give a 0 rating I would. Everything is completed online with no option to go into the building to talk to a person, but you still have to print the building permit for inspections? Way to go green Cowlitz County and use your resources well.

I own property pay my taxes and they want to charge me $400 to have an address? Needed to call the police because of druggies on my property and the police department didn't know where to go when I gave them my Parcel Id. $400 to type 4 numbers into a computer seems like Extortion!

What happened to all the previous nice people that worked here. Not only are they unfriendly, they are unknowlegeable.
