Chee Peng Chinese & Thai

What a lovely, affordable, place to eat in Roger’s city. Great pad Thai and other dishes. Will definitely come again and 5 stars for everything. Nice people that work here and would do anything for you. Can’t wait to go back.

We stop in here almost every year at around the Nautical Festival time. Can't say enough about the food it's absolutely delicious. We've tried several of their different menu items over the years and I haven't had a bad dish served to me ever. Very nice little restaurant plenty of parking out back. It gets pretty busy though at the time of Nautical Festival.

My parents retired to Cheboygan 7 years ago. My Mom has seriously missed Chinese food, especially Almond Boneless Chicken. We read previous reviews for this place and couldn't find one negative thought, so we drove 45 minutes for an early dinner. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing. The staff were great and friendly. Both parents got the ABC. The chicken was NOT pounded flat and overcooked or dry, but was just thick enough and juicy. Dad said "it was the best Chinese ever. So good!" I had the Chicken with vegetables. Just as yummy! Egg Drop Soup was like no other I had before. Was more like a cabbage soup with some egg in it, but was really tasty. Egg rolls were the best, hands down. Great seasoned flavor inside, not loaded with cabbage, but filled with yummy goodness. Not an overly thick outer wrap either. I usually prefer spring rolls but these egg rolls I would eat again for sure. Parents are excited to make plans for a monthly date night at Chee Pangs in Rogers City! I can't wait til my next vacation up here so I can eat here again as well!

Best Chinese in years. For spicy, hot means hot. Really hot. So, keep in mind when ordering. It was a really good meal at affordable prices.

An intimate little Asian place in one of my favorite towns in Michigan! The Sunday buffet was jammed at noon! Excellent food of all types bit the hot and sour soup is the very best I've ever had. I often drive out of my way just for that! The staff is very kind and helpful which is great when you have kids that might not have the very best manners!

The food was fine.... what can one expect for a "Chinese/ Thai" restaurant in this remote backwater where I live? Tea was lukewarm. Service was good. The owners are nice people who support the community. The strangest thing about this place is the fact that it seems the owner refuses to run a necessary exhaust fan or vent in the kitchen. It's ALWAYS a sauna in the restaurant. Very warm.... my eyeglasses fog up every time I go here. The front windows are always steamed up. On another note, my cousin owns a plumbing/ heating firm in town and has done work in the kitchen here. He says the kitchen is SPOTLESS... the cleanest restaurant kitchen he has ever seen. So there's that... Please turn the fans on. 😉

I have never been able to sit down and eat an entire meal at a restaurant with nothing leftover. From the soup, to crackers, to entree. I. Ate. The. Entire. Thing! Absolutely phenomenal!!!

The Rogers City Chee Peng is my favorite Chinese/Thai restaurant. Make sure to try their Hot and Sour soup. It is unlike any other I have had. Amazing! Especially on a cold day. Although their Chinese dishes are great I have finally explored the Thai side and love it.

We really enjoy eating at Chee Peng the food is always great, the serving sizes are generous portions of succulent vegetables and tender meats !!! And Mindy our favorite server is always polite and attentive!!!!

Always superior taste, quality and quantity of food. This is our favorite Chinese/Thai restaurant in all of Michigan. Prices are fair (around $6-8 for meals and 8-10 for buffets) and they run a buffet on Sundays, and also on Thursday and Friday during the lunch hour.

My absolute favorite Asian restaurant. I've been to Asian restaurant across the nation and Chee Peng is by far the BEST! Family recipes that are delicious. My favorite is the hot and sour soup and Thai spicy sezuaun chicken. The sweet and sour sauce is also house made and so good.

I come here all the time to get fried rice. Can't get enough of it. Just love it😁 the owners are very nice and polite. In fact going tomorrow again. The girls that work here great also.

You get quit a bit for the price. Very friendly and they make it exactly how you like it.
