Some of the best Mexican food in Southern Minnesota!

The owners are awesome and run an amazing restaurant. Everything tastes so authentic and wonderful. Their salsa is phenomenal, especially with some chips, cheese, and sour cream!

Make sure you check the hours before going as they are closed on Sunday and Monday.

We often travel from Mankato, MN to go and eat there... it's definetly worth the trip.

Best food! Love eating here. Not particularly authentic and the flavors are very Midwest but still delicious. I always recommend the beef enchiladas.

Always always awesome

There's no information about what time they open on Google, but they only open at 5 pm, so we had to come back later. Our food took forever to be served, and I think they might have forgotten about us (we saw other people that arrived after us getting their food before and the plates we ordered were not hard to be prepared). They charge for the chips, which is really uncommon for Mexican restaurants around here. Overall, we won't come back there, the plates are too small and my husband's food was extremely spicy (they haven't even told him it would be). For a restaurant that has won awards in the past, I would expect more for sure!!!

The food was pretty bad. Fajita bowl, Very dry (sitting in a warmer for a day) type of dry tasteless chicken, fajita veggies with "film" on them, and "rice" that was inedible. It was a mess. 2 burritos the size of street tacos, and not folded, but held together with toothpics? Save your time and money.

Food was flatout awful. Chips are just store-bought tostito rounds heated in the oven and store bought Tapitio salsa they charge extra for! My daughter had a quesadilla made with American cheese. Gross! Who makes a tostada with a soft flour tortilla. No one! Food was bland and pathetic. I'm not sure how it could possibly be named #1 Mexican food in Albert Lea? We left after about 4 bites and will never go back
