What a beautiful place! Google wants to know what the rooms and service are like, so hope you aren't expecting a hotel! It's a rec area and a campground. They used to have a playground in the rec area but they moved it into the campground. That's a bummer for non campers. Other wise everything is soooo nice. The site I was at was awesome! Couple minute's walk everywhere! Beach was raked daily, staff is amazing and friendly. There are designated areas for everything so you know where to go no matter what you want to do. We can't wait to go back

Loved this place. Came in on a Sunday with my granddaughter. Family friendly, activities for kids (like nature Bingo & they can win a prize) I have seen & highly recommend, if you're there for weekend, to have what you need so don't need to leave campground on Saturday cuz you are right off main road in town & it's very busy with traffic until later afternoon. Plus because there is a day use picnic area, swimming beach & fishing docks and a lot of lakes around the area with many weekend visitors. Had a long check out line at the Holiday gas station about 11 AM on a Sat., & I didn't get any gas.

Been there 30 yrs 😁 I'm a second generation of camping there... Could be third 🤔. Been Tenting in every season, Rain/Winds/Tornados, Snow/Sleet and Shine. Had Graduation, Birthdays, Fishing Openers and just day trips to the beach here. But this place has a huge place in our hearts, like many others. My Legally Blind Dad (❤☺ the care giver of us 3 kiddos, while mom worked hard), always brought us here to enjoy what he did growing up (and we kept him very busy!😁🤪🥵).

We lived on the lake in Crosslake and he still chose to camp here. I am even staying here, tomorrow!! 🤗👍. Big changes over the years. Many of our life stories start here. ❤❤

❤. I now have 3 boys of my own and Grandpa is dragged along to enjoy what he has created and shared. Best part is Grandpa gets to really Relax now and be waited on hand and foot like he did for me. Respect! 🥵❤🤪. Exhausting! My boys are always having fun there (I had movie nights there and he looks for hidden treasures.).

We always try to leave it better, then when we arrived. I noticed recently they are very very picky and picture happy at the smallest details when you leave. Seen them get photo crazy, at all the neighbors site. Right after they pulled out (they didn't look bad at all 🤷🏼‍♀)
Thanks for everything. I do like a clean site. ☺
Hopefully the playground is back. 🤞☺🤗❤ it's perfect.

While most people who stay here are regulars or "locals", we came all the way from Alabama to visit family. This is a beautiful, well maintained campground with plenty to do. You can fish, bike, boat, swim, participate in ranger-led activities, or enjoy the resort town. The staff is very friendly, and the sites are large and spaced out. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful place. Tucked inside big pine and birch trees. Right off the main road with access to gas, food and cocktails. Very clean and dogs friendly. Big beach and nice docks that you can see the little fish in spring. Fisherman can fish lake side or below dam off dock. Peaceful place to recharge the soul. Really enjoyed my stay.

Very large campsites. Feels like the middle of the woods even though the middle of town is just a few hundred feet away. Friendly hosts. Facilities are very clean. Beaches are nice. Easy in and out. Quick access to supplies.

This is a great campground and beach. There is a boat launch too. Beautiful camp sites. The dam is interesting and I have put my kayak in the Pine River here and taken out at the Staircase Landing a fun, short trip.

Very Beautiful park.

Beach with Shelter and grill/ pit.

The dam is beautiful but water is low due to it being late in the season.

Lots of wild life.

Stop by and check it out.

Park is free to enter.

It's so relaxing to go walking in the Cross Lake area. There are smaller stores to visit that have unique gifts and souvenirs. Beautiful sunsets over Cross Lake! And if you're there at the right time, you'll hear the Loons out on the lake.

Such a nice area and beautiful park. This is site 106. The park has pretty open sites which is nice if you are with a group. There is also a ton to do around the town area and most is well within biking distance. Restaurants, ice cream/candy shop, art gallery, thrift store, coffee shop, grocery store and gas station! Great place, highly recommend!

There are trails to the bathroom and to the water. In your tent you can listen to the loons at night. There is two nice beaches. The bathhouses are nice and clean.
