Tam O'Shanter Park

Great park with baseball pitches, playground and a walking trail with views of the cowlitz river.
There were several bees hovering around the picnic area, but we moved to a different table and didn't have any problems

This is a beautiful park! Plenty of playground for little ones and the softball/baseball fields are very nice! The park is well kept and has ample parking including handicap. I look forward to any time my kid has a game here because it's such a nice location.

Beautiful little neighborhood park for the kids and family too. Also great for exercising and playing basketball if that's something you enjoy. Just bring your own ball, or ride your bikes, do laps on feet...

We went to a Baseball game at the Youth field. I have never seen such a nice park with so many amenities. I would recommend this park.

It's a really nice park. I was here for the local Scottish Highlands Festival. It was a lot of fun.

Kelso Rotary drive thru Xmas lights are fantastic. It's a smaller light event but beautifully done. In 2022, you enter on S. Kelso Drive and $5 donation. Well worth it in my opinion.

Always meet my friends there ! The park is always a nice spot for us and our dogs to enjoy !

Visited this park for the first time yesterday coming from rainier. Start to finish was a great experience there was plenty of shade plenty of play Space with covered eating with an Arms Reach of your children on the play structures. Plenty of trash cans plenty of parking and plenty of things to view as far as scenery goes. Park wasn't overcrowded and the people that were there were kind courteous and respectful throughout the few hours that we were there. We enjoyed the facility and most definitely won't hesitate going back.

Great place to bring a picnic. There are many shade trees and picnic tables. Open space for dogs and kids to run around. Nice walking trail. Right off I-5, so easy access and works as a great spot to meet up with family. Sports complex, restrooms available, lots of open grassy fields!

Excellent all around other then closing restrooms to early. Otherwise awesome 😎

Tamo is one of the nicest baseball and recreational parks around!! The new baseball complex is above the rest in the area and the park in general offers many free events, inviting options like: frisbee golf, great park for the kids, covered area to host small to medium parties, and just a great atmosphere to have a picnic or hang out! They are always updating and making nicer and it’s a great spot to feel safe and enjoy the outdoors! I would recommend not going too late in the day, as sometime you can experience a bit of discomfort with the homeless crowd in the area which isn’t too bad but just a heads up if that makes you uncomfortable! Other than that I recommend enjoying this feature of Kelso if you ever get the chance!

The softball fields are well taken care of. Parking can be a little tight if all fields are being used. The playground is nice and it was clean when I was there.

Actually this was Schroeder Field, grandson's graduation from Lower Columbia College. This stadium and field are over 50 years old but you would not know it by how well it is taken care of. They just had a concert there by a local country artist last weekend. And a bonus for a high school stadium.... It has an elevator!

I grew up going to this park and it's always been near and dear to my heart. There are baseball/softball games held there regularly, events held, and there are covered areas available to reserve.

This is one of our favorite places to come and have a mini picnic at. The playground, bathrooms and picnic area is almost always clean. It is a great place to hold baby showers, birthday parties, etc. 10/10 recommended checking it out if you have kiddos.

Great park, so blessed that the City of Kelso makes this possible for the Kelso/Longview communities. Thank you to all who make Tamo a great place for families, recreation & great memories! Great events all year!

I was so pleasantly surprised by how great Tam O'Shanter looks now. I haven't been in probably 5 years or so and boy have things changed. They even have disk golf and a new much larger play structure. Plus, it was clean!
