Travelers Insurance

Not long after purchasing my duplex, which was insured by Travelers Insurance, through my Geico auto insurance agent, I had to file a claim for loss of use on the rental side. (Note: I did shop with 3 agents and Travelers was definitely the best value.) Because my Geico agent knew to get the additional rider for subletting of my primary residence, there was no question of coverage when a plumbing leak required the water to the entire rental side to be shut off.
Austin Williams with Travelers Insurance was super helpful and very nice. He just needed info from the Home Warranty company to validate the claim.
Due to an obsolete part being the source of the leak, it took 3 months (yes 3 months!) to get the leak resolved. Negative reviews will be posted for Einstein Plumbing (1 star) and Fidelity National Home Warranty (2 stars). But Austin and my Travelers Insurance were always on my side!
So grateful for an insurance company and agent that stood behind their product, even through a long, difficult process. Five stars is not enough and I'm never shopping home insurance again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
