Wolf River Electric Company

My husband and I chose to go with an off-grid system because the electrical service provider in the area wanted over $50K to run a line to our property after which we would have to pay for the service. From the moment we reached out to Wolf River Electric they were engaged every step of the way, from financing through installation and the county inspector. We did experience a hic-up with the Sol-Ark system communicating effectively with the battery backup, but the Wolf River diligently worked the problem over two days to resolve. We are extremely pleased with our off-grid system, and it has been working beautifully. Although we have yet to purchase our back-up generator, Wolf River installed all the necessary hardware for connecting it once it is on-site. All-in-all, a WONDERFUL experience.

We're very happy with our decision to install solar panels and Wold River made the process easy. Brandon Lotsberg explained the benefits, equipment, and process from start to finish. Communication was great throughout the process. The panels were installed professionally and quickly. The electrician walked us through all our questions. We installed last fall and have had no issues.

We have been very happy with not only the PV system installed, (we're already energy positive in February!) but with Wolf River Electric and their sales and project crew. Once we pulled the trigger on the project, the delivery of materials and installation happened very quickly, within 2 months. The crew was great to work with and were willing to install it in a manner that minimized the aesthetic impact on our home which was important to us. We got two competing bids, and Wolf River had not only the better pricing, but were responsive during the sales and engineering phase and were willing to do a custom install for us, something the other installer was unwilling to do.

If you’re considering solar, I highly recommend considering Wolf River Electric! From consultation to installation the crew was phenomenal to work with. They communicated effectively with me every step of the way and handled everything behind the scenes. The crew was courteous and professional on site. My installation went seamlessly and I was up and running in no time. There are a lot of companies out there but I would put Wolf River Electric at the top of your list!

To say that I'm extremely please with my new solar system is an understatement. The experience was a positive one from start to finish. There were some small hurdles throughout the process, but that to be expected. Jeff the job foreman, was on point. Very creative and definitely had a huge part in the final productivity and curb appeal. All of the guys have been very helpful in getting us from an idea to finished product. Even the CEO of the company reached out to us when we was informed of my wife's battle with cancer and they are in the works of helping raise funds through a benefit they are fully sponsoring. Didn't know anyone at Wolf River prior to, but I'm glad we decided to go with them, because they have treated us like family.

I was very skeptical about going solar. But it has been amaizing. I'm generating way more than I'm using. The equipment and technology is top tier. I highly recommend looking into solar by calling wolf river, they made it very easy and the installation process was simple and painless.

Installing residential solar is a big complicated project, with so many interested parties including the power company, the city, the contractor and the customer/owner. The key to a successful installation is choosing the right partner. I really wanted to make sure the partner I chose would be likely to be around for the lifetime of the product, which in this case is 25-40 years. And I wanted to make sure to get excellent long term warranties and support for any future needs. My neighbor did a lot of leg work and introduced me to his contractor, and so, this is what I found at Wolf River: a partner with the technical knowledge and skills to install and maintain my system, the industry partnerships to ensure they are in it for the long run, and communication and customer service that ensures my needs are met. I’m starting my second week with my system live, and I’m looking forward to many years of solar power generation.

The Solar install project we had with Wolf River was amazing. They were very helpful with the original planning of the project. From the time we finalized to the time of install was fast and went better than we expected.

Install was completed in one day. They reached out and made sure we were informed of the status and final approvals along the way.

Solar power being a major decision for most households, I was concerned that the system I put in was durable, dependable, and efficient. Wolf River Electric and their partnership with Sun Power filled that requirement. The ease of working with Wolf River Electric and its project leader and technicians was GREAT. Every step in the process was explained and ALL my questions were answered in simple terms, quickly and completely. The project foreman, Jeff, was patient and thorough throughout the installation and always had time to answer any concerns I had. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly the project was completed.

Wolf River did a great job installing our new solar system. The lead person on site kept me informed during the install and was very helpful showing me the things I needed to know. They were all knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They did a great job cleaning up too.

We started making electricity last week! It's an exciting climax to a journey with that started in May with Wolf River. Since our first contact with Wolf River back in May everything has been a positive journey. Everyone involved with the company has been very positive and helpful. When the crew came out to do the install it was the hottest days we had all summer. They were a joy to be around, for even in the hottest days of summer their attitude was positive and genuinely joyful with their jobs. Multiple times I saw them helping each other with duties that maybe they don't always do, but we're always there helping each other. When the state state inspector came out to do a site inspection, we talked about the payment process that Wolf River electric practices. The three payment system is unique in the industry. Many companies ask for the entire amount either upon contract signing or at the completion of the install. The company then has the full financing and completion of the job is not as important. Many projects, according to the inspector, can get hung up and completion delayed. Well forever electric helped work through the challenges that we experience with Mid-America energy. Some of the requirements of Mid-America energy we're a little bit more challenging for Wolf River then other electric companies that they have worked with. Even though the challenges were a little different, Wolf River worked through them efficiently to achieve the final goal of all of those associated with the project and that is to start generating electricity. Our experience with Wolf River electric has been extremely positive and we would recommend them to anyone who has an interest in solar energy. System is on line and working great! I installed a 10 KW system. It went on line 9/28/24. From that time through 10/22/24, I sold a net 79 KWH back to the grid. Billing period was 9/25-10/22 and my net use was 2 KWH for the month. Compared to the same time period the prior year, I used 645 KWH. Saved about $80 for the month based on last years bill. Can't wait to see how it works through the winter and next summer!

Wolf River was great to work with! They installed 11 solar panels on our house and were knowledgeable, thorough, and speedy throughout the process. So happy to be able to not only save money in the long run, but also to help the planet.

Really happy with our experience with Wolf River Electric. Jacob our project manager kept us in the loop through out the whole process and answered all our questions. The solar panels look and work great and the install team lead by Tony and Nick were AWESOME. Would absolutely recommend if solar is something you are interested in.

Wolf did an awesome job. They made sure we were updated every step if the way. The second week after going live my husband sat in a nice Air conditioned house while the rest of the block was in the dark. He was thrilled. The batteries were and will continue to be the best investment I we could have rver made. Weather its power during a snow storm or A/C in the middle of a heat wave! So happy with this investment.

Wolf River has been an absolutely great company to work with. They took over my Solar Installation project when Sun Badger went under and did a fantastic job of seeing it through to the end very quickly. They were communicative, informative, very upfront about everything, and delivered within the timeframe they set (way exceeding my expectations!). After working in the service industry for several years both as a tech and managing a service network I can honestly say Wolf River has been one of the best companies I’ve worked with.

the installation was done exactly the way Wolf River said it would be done. they took care of all of the permits and dealing with my electrical provider so it was a simple process from my end. Could not be happier with my decision to go with Wolf River Electric for my solar project.
