Maucieri's Italian Bistro

As always, Dawn & her crew did a fabulous job. Took my 5 yr old granddaughter, who loves spaghetti, on a date night to where else, but the place with best spaghetti in Minnesota 😊, she was thrilled. Scott was our server & he was great & very patient with a 5 year old. Thank you! She also loved the chocolate lava cake, big bonus as she asked multiple times if I thought they'd have cake there as well 🤣😂. The shrimp scampi over fettuccini that I had was very good as well. Successful date night!

Took a drive to Cross Lake today to check out the community, shopping, and restaurants! We found Maucieri’s Italian Bistro Restaurant and Bar….49 years of authentic Italian’s with a passion for food and service! Originally from Chicago. From scratch pasta daily! Lee had the Chicken Alfredo, I chose the Rose Sauce Pasta. We enjoyed a fresh lettuce salad and bread. The owner, Dawn, treated us, as first timers, to her Tiramisu! Delightful and Delicious from start to finish. Very good service and nice atmosphere! Thank you… we will be back! Michelle and Lee Gauer

I eat here every year! I haven't had anything bad! Lunch specials are the best! I love the gravy and Italian sausage. I always get sause to take home. I live in Wisconsin and wish this place was near me. I would eat here every week. Owners and staff are awesome. Dawn is the best!!

Handmade pasta up north?! What's not to like? My favorite was the Baked Rigatoni. Excellent service, too.

I gotta say, this homemade Italian food is absolutely top-notch. The chicken parm is off the charts delicious, I swear. It's so good that I can't even bring myself to wait a measly 30 seconds before devouring it to snap a photo for a review.

We had a great golf luncheon. The food was great and everyone raved about the meatballs. With linen tablecloths and Dawn’s attention to our event it was a classy worry free event. Consider Maucieri’s for your next event or just a night out

I was impressed by the food and the friendly staff; ate with a group so I had the opportunity to sample several dishes and all we very tasty. Some dishes were pleasantly spicy which was a welcome surprise for northern Minnesota. Would recommend.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in the area. My family has been coming here for years and I'm sure that will continue a long time into the future! The spaghetti and meatballs has always been a favorite, and the food goes hand in hand with a very friendly waitstaff that will make sure you're well looked after during your stay

Traveled to the Brainerd Lakes area for a getaway from everyday life, and because the trip I was supposed to take to Italy was covid'ed. So, I looked up Italian eateries and only came across Maucieri's. And gosh, I'm glad it was the only choice. My server was friendly and chatty, but not over the top. She told me some history about the family which was neat to hear. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and added the salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing. The dressing was terrific. The spaghetti and meatballs completely hit the Italy spot. The sauce was fresh and vibrant. The meatballs were good, but not super necessary if you aren't really into meatballs. There are chunks of meat in the "gravy". Overall, it was a really great meal with nice service. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will be stopping by every time I happen to be in the area. Grazie!

My favorite spot in town for yummy snacks and wine. The antipasto is a perfect snack for carry out too - I probably get one once a week 🤪 Hope you can reopen soon 💕

Awesome! Very cute family owned buissiness. Food was delicious. We had the regu rigatoni and stuffed shells. It was delicious. We also shared the best cheesecake we have ever tasted. Will definitely go back sometime!

A Huge Shout Out to Maucieri's Italian Bistro for catering the delicious meal at last evening's ECTC Annual Meeting. The food was out-of-this world and the service was suburb. We received many compliments on the food.

We love going here to celebrate or just to have a nice meal. The mozzarella with tomato and balsamic vinegar was delicious

I can see why they call it famous spaghetti. The sauce is spectacular. Service was excellent (thanks Verna). Prices are reasonable as well. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Yum.

I love Maucieri’s! One of the best Italian joints in Minnesota. The staff and service is great! Try the rosé sauce, yum! I had the pleasure of having the server named Easton, who was so kind and friendly. Check this place out!

The Breezy Point Area Women's Club, had their October luncheon and meeting at Maucieri's with 40+ women. We chose to do buffet style. We were served Salad, Chicken Alfredo w/ fresh veggies, lasagna, bread sticks and an assortment of cookies and bars. It all was delicious. Tassy our server was very attentive the whole time we were there. Thank you Dawn for opening up on Wednesday for our luncheon. You and Tassy made it a great experience.

A very welcoming environment from the moment we walked in. I had the Cajun shrimp macaroni that was the evening's special. Wow! What a treat, the pasta and shrimp were cooked to perfection. This was accompanied by a generous pour of their house Chianti. We'll definitely be back! I'm amazed a gem like this place was in the area!

We’ve been looking for really good Italian food in the Brainerd Lakes area since we moved here 7 months ago.. (My husband and I are California transplants who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.) This is the place! Excellent food. We both had the Minestrone Sou and shared the cheese bread! Scrumptious. I had the lasagna and my husband had the spaghetti with sausage!! We were thrilled with what we got. The service was great. We are destined to be regular ms!
