Cowlitz County District Court

I had to go to court and went to room 6 district Court 6 the judge was very pleasant he told me everything I needed to know and what I need to do I didn't even know my lawyer was there that was a sad thing because he didn't address me when I came in and there was only three people in there. other than that it was a pleasant experience I wasn't frustrated or mad or anything it was okay.

You guys do great jobsmbut what is this I owe you 250 dollars you send it to the So called collections agencies, they hold on to the money until the moneys no good then send it back to me X? Xme, thats not a good agent....You want someone to collect money hire me , Ill get the job done right ....Thank You

I have seen hundreds of cases and a female judge and Mr Ludman are making a difference. Good job.

Take the stairs. The elevator is old. Be patient when you go thru security.
District Court is to the left.
Superior Court is to the right.
If filing paperwork with superior court you have to be there by 4:15 and taken a number to be seen that day. Otherwise you'll have to wait until the following business day.

This is the main courthouse for kelso and longview. It is definitely showing its age with occasional leaks when the area is under a constant rain system. It's also sad that people feel that they have the right to vandalize the building. The bathroom stalls need to be repaired. Overall it's a nice building.

The clerk's in this department R attentive&helpful. In the past I've been assisted @ the court across from the district court&them woman r not as kind as the District court. Short n not so kind. Thank u 4 being g kind & helpful district court clerk's.

Does this court house close at 5pm M-F?? Your answering machines says that you close at 5:30pm yet no answered the phone when I called at 5:15pm on a Thursday.

The court house windows remind me of a horror flick because all the spider webs.

No fair trials here. They will allow charges against you with no evidence and destroy your life and reward the accuser even if it's false alligations. They prefer that you lie in court to take a plea bargain and if you fight the charges they make your life so complicated that suicide seems appealing. As long as we do not have fair trials there are bad people that learn how to use the courts to gain from. Kelso courts have destroyed my life along with many others before me that are not free to leave reviews.

I went to court yesterday to dispute my traffic ticket. The cop said he saw me with my cell phone in my hand texting in a school zone while looking down. In which my phone was not next to me. My sister was on my phone while she was sitting in the passenger seat. I never admitted to the cop that I was at fault. When I addressed it to the judge she said that she didnt believe me. I also told her that the cop wrote down the wrong model of my car on his ticket. He got the car right in his statement. Also the cop did not show up. The judge said that doesnt matter. So in other words if anyone gets pulled over with there passenger using the phone it doesn't matter and if the cop writes down the wrong car. you would still have to pay for it. It states that if the cop makes any errors on your ticket or if the cop doesnt show up it would get dismissed. My case was not dismissed and I still have to pay for the ticket.

Embarrassing service and communication, with no sense of humanity. They'll make you return several times because they won't bother to explain everything they need from you.

I got a ticket because I stopped on I 5 N on Thanksgiving, to assist a motorist who had spun out and hit the wall dividing I 5 N from I 5 S. While assisting the motorist in distress, another motorist, who ADMITTED to rubbernecking and said he never saw my car with its emergency lights flashing, rear ended me. Fortunately, I was NOT in my car, which was totalled. I was given a ticket for leaving an "Unattended vehicle on the highway", even though there were extenuating circumstances. When I contacted an attorney who specialized in these type of cases, he said he would not take a case that was in Cowlitz County; he said it was impossible to win there.
I did the RIGHT THING! I could have kept driving and let someone else worry about it. But I didn't, and I am being penalized for being an humanitarian so that Cowlitz County can make their revenue quota...

You'll do 17, because these lead paint chip eating clownie dicks can't do math unless it's to add unsupported penalties to your misdemeanor charges.
