Kelso Public Library

I was in a odd situation. I needed some real librarian help. All 3 librarians graciously assisted me and helped solve the situation. Wonderful Kelso library experience 💙🙌🏽😁

Friendly staff, clean and well organized. Check out their calendar, they have activities for children, mainly crafts and storytime.

I love this Library! I remember going to this library to take my child to see books when he was very young. They have a huge selection of children's books and have a "story time" when the kids can gather in a small group and listen to a staff member read a story. The staff is very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Lots of books that you are able to look through, review and make a decision whether you want to check it out or not. Computers available also for the public to go on and check email or research something. Copier is available also. Kim& Kristen n Sylvia r awesome!!!

Love that it's in such a convenient location and open decent hours, and the book sales that the friends of the library put together are awesome. (Bring cash, though! They don't take cards.) When you get a card, you're eligible to get a sister card at the Longview library, so anything you can't find here, you can find at the other library. It's great!

Amazing staff, really loved how they were about my children being excited and loud. I couldn't get them to stop no matter what I did and they didn't care. They understood, and were happy that we came in. Thank you ladies, sometimes we forget being normal is okay

Good selection of all sorts of books.. Staff signing myself and my 3y/o up for cards was helpful and understanding of my constantly being distracted by his antics.

At our first time checking out books (during a separate visit), i was given weird looks and questioned by the staff member why i wanted to use his (3y/o) card to check one of the books out.. Umm because it's a book for him and he wanted to use his card for the first time, duh. She made the rest of the encounter uncomfortable, i won't go in when she's working the counter.

Everyone else we've had the opportunity to speak to were very helpful, friendly and compassionate. My toddler has severe ADHD, i don't let him run around, he's always in a stroller to prevent damage to the library, but because of that he's loud.. They dont make a stink about it, as i actively try to quiet him as best i can during our 5-10min trip. One member even tried to distract him for a few minutes so i could search for a book for myself, wish i got her name.

This is a good place to take your children, it's a decent size library compared to the city it represents. It houses special events from time to time. A good way to spend some time.

Looked awesome. I really wish I could use it. My kids always ask. Hard to take advantage of any public library when they are closed at night and on Sundays. Which (outside of Saturday)are the only times 90% of patrons would be able to go.

Female clerk was rude and seemed angry when I did not have the right change for the two paperbacks I had chosen. They charged me $3.00 for them and I gave them a twenty. She insisted on taking out small bills and change even though a nice lady kept telling her there was seven $5.00 bills in the cash drawer. I will not go there again.

Because I live in one of those "" pockets" that isn't inside kelso city limits I have to pay for a library card?! That's bull I pay taxes just like everyone else! Won't be coming back that's for sure.
