This is generally a quiet, peaceful, Scenic area of New Hampshire. Public beach nearby, and a small General Store just across the street. BUT, yesterday was the pre Fourth of July food truck / nighttime fireworks. The place was packed! What a great turnout. Everyone was friendly, enjoyed the food, and the fireworks were outstanding. the only issue was parking, but as friendly as folks are around New Hampshire, we straightened that out all on our own. A good time was had by all!

Great little gathering place in Strafford, NH. You can go see a live play on the stage upstairs put on by the lakeside players. There is a yoga by donation class upstairs 3 times per week led by an amazing and personable certified yoga instructor. I took my kids to the make your own sundae ice cream social, they had a fun time. Across the parking lot is the picturesque bow lake dam. This is a photo taken the day of the ice cream social at the dam, such an amazing and beautiful bird.

Great spot for canoe and kayak launching. Fishing is great here

Great place to hang out and swim, or float. Bring something for shade as not a lot of trees.
