Mountain Home Cabins

Best place in New Hampshire! In a fact, it's my favourite place in the entire US! Love the brook, love the forest, the view of the mountains surroundung, love the couple who runs the place! This beautiful place has an unutterable atmosphere! Cozy, welcoming, and yet poetic! To me it became a second place to miss, after my motherland!

Been going for years. No luxuries, just enough. Depends on what you need/ expect. If you like privacy, rustic and unbelievable beauty and nature, it's for you. Very cold at nite, could've used another blanket, but I went to bed late, after the firepit

Mt. Home Cabins are my home away from home. The cabins are each unique, rustic and decorated with pieces that have either sentimental or
historical value. If you need turn down service, room service or the absolute in luxury this isn't for you. This place signifies all that keeps New Hampshire quirky and cool. The owners are kind, caring, remeber who you are, work hard to accommodate requests, even though it is basically two people who run the show, from cleaning to building to checking you in. There isn't a single cabin that isn't my favorite, the waterfall
is peaceful, you can bring your kind ours, there are old school games where people have to talk with one another to play them, fire pits and sooo many trails to walk. Really, for the longest time I didn't want to review because I don't want a ton of people to ruin it! But, I really shouldn't be that selfish! If you haven't skied here in the winter then do that toooo!

I've stayed here numerous times through the years. John is a good owner. I love all the cabins I've stayed in. It's a nice place to get away to. I love waking back to the creek and just relaxing here. Highly recommend.

Best Reunion Every! This place is great. We'd been looking for a spot for months. All four family groups had there own cabin. Kids had so much to do everyone was happy. John and Diane had thought of everything. Great hosts. Everyone wants to go back. A few didn't want to leave!

Quiet, and peaceful. Excellently stocked with the household needs! Older cabins but kept very clean and comfortable. Be sure to ask about the winter skiing! Fridge has a freezer as well.

Mountain home cabins is my home away from home. I’ve been going there my whole life and nothing makes me happier than spending my summer weekends in these homie little cabins. From the beautiful property to the amazing owners who I have grown to call family I couldn’t recommend a better place to bring your whole family for a break from reality

Stayed there 2 yrs ago there cottages there homey you go on vacation to be outside not inside your not booking a 5 star hotel if that's what you want book it if you want a quiet place comfy with all your necessities then book here

Homey cabins that were built between the 30s and 40s. Great relaxing place. Private waterfall in the back.

Clean, rustic cabins in a beautiful location. Great accommodating staff. We will be back for sure.

A few friends and I were here for a weekend on our motorcycles in 2007. Great place, to relax and or party with the waterfall out back it was a welcomed relief from the hot August heat....
