North Dam Park

This park is looking for donations to help it out. It has
a covered BBQ and Picnic area with a large lawn area.

There is also a bicentennial time capsule. In 1976, hundreds of capsule-sealing ceremonies were held nationwide- 200 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The free-standing concrete container is scheduled for opening 100 years later at the Tricentennial.

This is a great park. We were there at Colorama festival and parade. Good time

Forming one side of Burns Lake, the North Dam is an inconspicuous hero, making the city of Grand Coulee possible. The park is clean and offers picnic area, scenic views and public space for recreation.

Enjoy Banks Lake. This park is seldom crowded. The bathroom and grounds are well maintained. Photos are on the highway approaching the park.

The Grand Coulee Dam visitor center is an educational experience. It's continued to contribute 6.8 MW of renewable electricity for over 80 years. There are so many displays for all ages to learn from that your head will spin and your brain will be challenged. This is our nation's largest hydroelectric dam. What this represents is America's might and strength. When we needed the power to build up our Armed Forces, Grand Coulee Dam provided it. And still delivers power to the grid. Lots of it!
There's a picnic area and playground gear for the families to enjoy. Also a guided tour of the third powerhouse. Plus, the laser light show across the spillway is fantastic!

Great place to camp fish walk and boat .

So much to this park that is tucked away past the hillside. A great stop as you come through this area.

Easy parking all around the park, 1 wheel chair access parking, paved, 2 baseball fields, tennis court, play grounds and skate park. Great for a day at the park. Shade but needs more tables and have existing tables maintained.

Really a beautiful park. There is a long walking path from the parking area. The gras and trees are lush with a covered shelter. Great accessibility for wheelchairs.

Nice, clean, well kept little park. Crossed paths with a rattlesnake down in the brushy part of the park. Grassy areas are great play area.

Amazing place to relax and have fun.

Great spot. Lots of events happen here such as Colorama mother day weekend. Designated spot for fireworks during the 4th. Good place for picnics and walking. In the winter it is a good sledding spot. The view is nice also.

Wonderful park with pavilion, nice restrooms, large grill and lots more! Great place!

I like to hang out here a lot. There's a small basketball court and some grass / benches for lounging and relaxing with some friends.
