ShopRite of Poughkeepsie

I am so amazed with Debbie in the florist department! She did my flowers for my wedding on Nov 12, 2022 and did an absolutely outstanding job. We ordered bridesmaids bouquets, bridal bouquet, boutonnières, grandparent corsages, and bulk babies breath/greenery for decorations. She was so kind, professional and easy to get in touch with if I had any questions. All of my guests were commenting on the bouquets - they truly were stunning! Don’t hesitate to go to Debbie with any florist needs!!

ShopRtie was great.. Always dependable... I found everything I was looking for and at a good price to... I found the employees helpful and the check out Gal friendly.. I enjoy my visits to ShopRite Every time

Well-organized branch of ShopRite, with sections specializing in fish, meats, produce, fruits, flower and bakery. Lotto games on sale at a designated counter. Clean, modern bathrooms on site. Extensive section for beers. Outside is a kiosk of RedBox, and a terminal for returns of water cooler bottles. Lots of parking available in lot outside.

I like the layout, plenty of parking, and smooth checking out.

It is always been a pleasure. Staff are always around and present to help. They are efficient, and the store is a peaceful environment. If I had a negative it would be to smile more. Because I received many, and considering my day, it was so much of a blessing to see a face that was pleasant, friendly and smiling.

This is my favorite ShopRite of all the ShopRites in Dutchess County. They have the most choices, full shelves and uncluttered floors.Their associates are always working hard to give you the best shopping experience!

This is a great grocery store. They have a variety of everything and their produce selection is fantastic! If you like Oreros, as my children do, they have such a ridiculous assortment too. Prices are really fair as well and the store is exceptionally clean. Staff are also super friendly.

My other favorite Shoprite in the area it is huge like almost like a warehouse store like BJ’s, Costco or Sam’s club but doesn’t sell only big packs of items it has every grocery store item you can imagine and so much more!! Best prices in the area!!! Digital coupons and any other discounts you can get off sooo worth it!!

I shop at your store every 2 weeks. Last week or so, I experience changes that I found very useful, and beautifully done regarding those changes/decor. I love the setup, the way its being organized for the shoppers and looks like a whole new store. Great work on your staff and and those involved to come up with these ideas. I simply love it.

This particular Shop-Rite Supermarket on Route 9 (near Marist College) is very impressive in many ways. First of all, it was built recently so it's still shiny and new. It has a big meat, seafood, bakery and produce dept.
This is the cleanest Shop-Rite I have ever shopped at. The older ones don't seem to be kept very clean.
It is well staffed in comparison to other supermarkets at this point in time. I might add that the cashiers and other employees are friendly and helpful.
There's plenty of parking spaces. Of course, they have handicapped ♿ parking and the store is wheelchair accessible.
The Customer bathroom is kept tidy which is a blessing. Some public toilets 🚻 are extremely filthy.
Shop-Rite has circulars that make it easy to know what foods are discounted each week.
They also sell a lot of non-food products such as household items, shampoo, over the counter medications and so on...
In my opinion, their price point is competitive with surrounding supermarkets in Dutchess County. Shop-Rite is always known as having Can Can Sales regularly.
I really don't have anything negative to say about this chain store. I think it's worthwhile to try this supermarket and see it for yourself. You will be glad you did so.

This is a very clean new feeling ShopRite. They have lots of variety and plenty of options including a good gluten free selection. Just remember to bring a quarter for the carts!

Nice attentive staff. Two of them were disinfecting the self checkouts as I walked up. Frank was especially helpful and provided some comic relief. (Thank you Frank!) They had tons of toilet paper and paper towels. First time I've seen it stocked like that since March and it's mid May now. Prices have increased for produce. $1.49 for green bell peppers. $2.99 for a 5lb bag of russet potatoes generic brand. Milk is up too. Not their fault though I know. It's a result of the pandemic.

I live about 30 minutes from Poughkeepsie. However, I do shop on occasion at the ShopRite in South Hills. I just want to say that every time I come here the butcher shop employees and the cashiers are so helpful offering advice, ways to save that I wasn't aware of, etc. There are some great employees there! Keep up the awesome job!

My ShopRite. Always fresh fruit, well stocked shelves, meats, frozen, prepared foods, etc., etc. I can go on for hours! But alas, one must see with ones eyes to truly know. Go and see. Many thanks to the good people at this location that make it the great shopper's experience that it is.

Best prices for quality food. The meat department has outstanding butchers who will custom cut any meat available. Produce, deli, and bakery are always clean organized and carry outstanding products.

Has almost every grocery, meat, dairy, juice, etc. item you can think of and it's a very clean store. I buy my deli items from here all the time. The deli is quick and efficient. Customer Service is excellent and Managers are always on hand to answer questions or provide service.

Love this new location. Everything fresh and priced competitively. Love the deli section and they always have my favorite cake and donuts from Entenmanns. Glad I live locally.

I just want to thank all the shoprite employees that we encountered today in the Poughkeepsie store. They where amazing considering everything they are working through right now. They were wiping down carts and spraying disinfectant as you walked in. Helping people in the isles to find alternatives to favorite items. I would especially like to thank Frank on check out isle number one. He made our entire day with his infectious smile and up beat attitude in a very troubling time. I hope you enjoyed the cheese

Haven't been to this shoperite in ages but they've improved greatly since my last visit. The store is much more modern with new shelves, flooring, and self check outs. Produce selection is just as good as any other ShopRite.
