The Exchange Restaurant

Visited on opening weekend. What a beautiful restaurant. Staff is eager and attentive. Food was great. Meatloaf and smash burger were the highlight. Also had soft cheese platter and croissant chicken salad.

Great outdoor space. Cool vibe.

Such a beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the staff is eager to please. They definitely are still working out some kinks as a new restaurant and some of the staff seem like they’re still learning, but you can tell they want to do a good job and are working hard to make the experience great for everyone. We will absolutely be coming back! Oh, and try the chicken caesar wrap with crispy chicken… so so delicious!

Love this place. Has come a long way since it opened 8 months or so ago. Great food, lots of gluten free and vegan options. Restaurant itself is stunning. Staff are friendly and professional. Check out the bakery too. So glad to have this place in Homer NY!

Wonderful addition to downtown Homer.

The ambiance/decor is classy and upscale.
I had the lemon chicken pasta and my husband had the strip steak, both were delicious. We will definitely be retuning soon.

I ordered soup and salad for lunch. It was amazing- farm to table fresh! We dined in but the outdoor terrace is beautiful as well. The remodel is beautiful and in keeping with the history of the building. Waitstaff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be taking more friends and family back with me. And the bakery has a wide selection of delectable treats and fresh coffee. So glad The Exchange brings new life to that block of Homer NY!

Absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, and the flavor combinations were well thought out and balanced.

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted to eat here. I am glad I did. The food was very flavorful. The atmosphere is amazing and the service I received was great. ( I don't remember her name but it started with a K). I will definitely eat here again.

Such a great place to compliment downtown Homer. Didn’t know what to expect and ended up going on a whim with a friend. Beautifully appointed restaurant (actually kinda stunning to have such a well designed restaurant in Homer). Welcomed by friendly staff for an early dinner with a friend. Promptly seated on the patio. Restaurant filled quickly with diners. Server seemed kinda “new-ish” and not 100% on menu and beverage questions, but very friendly and attentive. Large menu, lots of options. Our food came in the right amount of time and everything was delicious. Price point for everything was what I would expect to pay. Great value. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Fantastic place to have a nice dinner. Wonderful food, friendly staff, and a quiet (though not uncomfortably so) atmosphere. I'll definitely be going back!

The food was amazing. I had the burger, I'm a slow eater and it was so good I inhaled it. Our service was attentive and awesome. We had a large party and were seated promptly. The only negative is it can get very loud and it is hard to hear your party members. If this bothers you I recommend their amazing patio seating.

After spending a week in Cortland we can say that driving into Homer and finding this place was a very pleasant surprise. The food and service were amazing. A nice change from the bar food we'd been eating all week.

We came in for lunch and loved it! Our waitress was kind and attentive. The ambience is beautiful, the outdoor patio is perfect for a summer day. My salad was amazing, and my fiancé loved his open meatloaf sandwich. The drinks were also amazing. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant, love the atmosphere! Great food from what I have tried so far (Smash Burger and Grandma's Meatloaf). Sophie and Stacy at the bar were both super friendly -overall staff is very attentive. Tried some delicious bagels from their bakery too! Awesome 👌

Great food. Great service. Everyone friendly. Only down side is the noisey tenants upstairs.

We had Vita for a server tonight. So kind and efficient. We had calamari and burrata for apps. Steak and ahi for dinner. Both cooked perfectly. Honestly the tomato jam on the burrata dish stole the whole show. Key lime pie was top notch. The decor was beautiful. Modern, clean but very inviting. Will be back for sure.

We had a great time here. The atmosphere was wonderful. We ordered the butter leak pasta, steak, tuna, and lasagna and everyone loved their meals. Meals averaged at $30 and were big portions.

Great new dining option in Homer. Fun menu. Will definitely return.
