General Clinton Park

General Clinton Park is owned and managed by the Town of Bainbridge.

I called ahead and spoke to a Town of Bainbridge employee. He was very professional, polite and very informative.

Wow, very nice town park. The Town of Bainbridge and grounds crew does a fantastic job keeping the park clean and groomed.

Well groomed and green grass fields. Large sites throughout the park with 20, 30, 50amp or 30amp. Water and electric only. There is a dump station. Free for campers in the park.

Passport America is $15.00 a night. Nice paved and gravel walking path and playground for children.

Absolutely love this park and outdoor venue option. The grounds are kept extremely clean and well maintained. So much potential for local utilization and great camp option for passersby.

Neat park. We got to see a band playing Bluegrass that evening. Great fun. Good turnout.

Lovely park and campground. Awesome walking trail, although it is not flat if that matters to you. Pavilions available for free or to reserve and rent. Great place for family reunion or church picnic. Restrooms available in warmer months.

Beautiful and spacious Park. Offering good River access for canoeing and kayaking. Came for the General Clinton Regatta and had a blast.

General Clinton park is an incredible asset for Bainbridge. Beautiful walking trails along the river small nice playground for the kids camping and trailer sites available, the Annual General Clinton Canoe regatta on Memorial day weekend . bathrooms kitchen facilities and pavilions available for rent . A favorite spot to escape for a riverbank lunch when I am stuck in town.

Great park for picnics, walking and events. Sweet playground for kids, numerous benches, restrooms. Camping available.

I loved walking around the trail they have. The park was clean and the kids had fun. It was a good way to get them out the house to burn some energy. The park was also clean. There was no trash anywhere. I would recommend this park for daily walks or to bring kids to play.

Nice open Park, around 45 acres.
Always clean and we'll maintained.
Campground area is very nice, and water and electricity are available.
Pet friendly but be advised dogs must be on a leash.
There is a boat launch for launching canoes and kayaks.

This park is such a gem and gorgeous in the spring! If we had a Passport America card, it would have been $13/night, that's with water and electricity! RV Parky didn't say much about this place, but I could see it was on the water, so we gave it a shot. I didn't check out the shower facilities but that isn't such a big deal to us as we shower in the RV. I loved this place.

Was there for All Class Reunion for B-G Central. Nice picnic area! Nice Ball Fields! RV Hookups. Home of General Clinton Canoe Regatta! Run by Town of Bainbridge. Great facility!

We have camped here twice now. We can walk our dog. We have a nice River view. first come first serve, no reservations needed. Can't beat it. Full hookup. Showers if needed.

Great find for RVers. Partial hookup sites with a dump station. Huge park that is well maintained and not crowded at all. Right next to the Susquehanna river. Call to reserve during the week or just show up and drop off your fee at the overnight drop box attached to an info booth near one of the entrances.

Very spacious. You can run around and ride a bike and stuff. There's two small playground sets for kids(slide, swings,sea saw, mary-go round, monkey bars) very nice

Great walking trails, benches along the way and garbage cans periodically. Scenic and peaceful. Small playground, baseball fields, Pavilions, charcoal grills, enclosed reception hall with view of river, large open area for sports, kids to run and play, events, weddings, etc.

Wonderful facility with a bandstand and enclosed dining hall. Walking trails. Camping areas. Beautiful riverfront view where you may just see an eagle flying across the river. Unfortunately named canoe race is a great, if racially insensitive event.

A pretty community park, with a campground, walking trail, ballfields and many special events. Home of the General Clinton Canoe Regatta, every Memorial Day weekend.

Great place to just get some quiet time and take your dog for a walk.

Went to dog shows at this park. Grounds were beautiful!

Stopped here for the Finger Lakes Trail Conference fall outing. Nice park with camping, showers, bathrooms and other facilities. Well maintained and uncrowded.
