The Norwich Diner

Even though I only stayed in Norwich for a few days, if I come back, I'm definitely going to eat here again. Immediately when I walked in, the staff was very nice to us. They called my Mom and I both ladies, and that actually really means a lot to me. Other than a great atmosphere, great food too!

The name of the place is Charlie's Place, but the sign has not been changed.

The food was great, service was excellent. I had the mushroom and cheese omelet. My husband got the sausage gravy, which was very flavorful.

This place is cash only, so plan ahead.

There was no wait and the servers were very attentive to everyone.

Always a good meal at Charlie's Diner. Prompt service and reasonable prices. Closed Tuesdays.

I was just in town for the weekend, down from Ontario, Canada and found this place walking around the town. This place is exactly what i was looking for. A simple diner without an elaborate and expensive menu. Good atmosphere, good prices, good food, great service. I will definitely visit again in the future

I've been here twice now and they are 2 for 2. Good food, good portions, friendly service and atmosphere with affordable prices! This will definitely be a new breakfast go to!

We had breakfast, build your own omelette, but wonderful choices on the menu, friendly attentive staff, wonderful stop on our journey!

The person that recommended this place to me described it as "greasy spoon". It's your basic, local diner. The food is good. The staff was great--polite and friendly. Our order was served promptly. And the coffee kept coming. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend.

Very yummy, cute too. They have delicious Home Fries, I would go back just for these! Will be going back this weekend to enjoy some more :)

Staff is always top notch and friendly, no matter if it's a busy day or slow. I've gone for breakfast a few times, and it's always hot and never disappoints, no matter what dish i choose.

Thought this would be just a regular hole in the wall diner. To our surprise the food was plentiful, flavourful and the server there was very friendly and attentive. Prices were very fair for the portion size.

Excellent service and great food at great prices. Always two great, caring, cheerful and thoughtful servers. You sit down, they are right there with the menu's and asking what you'd like to drink. For breakfast, I always order eggs and corned beef hash. They either make it themselves or they buy only the best and freshest corned beef hash. I've never had it anywhere else as good tasting as it is at the diner. They have a wide variety of items for breakfast and lunch. The place is always clean and neat and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Good food at a good price provided with good service.

This restaurant has my family's seal of approval. My very picky, vegetarian, 10 year old son likes this place and I cannot think of a harder to achieve honor for any restaurant. He likes the breakfast all day option, especially the French Toast. My other 3 kids (non vegetarian) can all find something to their tastes as well. They enjoy the salads with chicken.

Quiet place. I felt like u was in Cheers, where everybody knows your name. At least the waitress did. Bacon and eggs were perfect. She had my plate on the table so quick, the hash browns were still steaming hot. Decent prices too.

We found the diner by accident and were pleasantly surprised. We had the Reuben with corned beef and the Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Both came with fries, coleslaw, and pickle. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent and very timely. The lunch portion was very large so anticipate leftovers. We will visit again if in the area.

Not one complaint in the three years I’ve been there. Homey atmosphere and good food. Prices are quite reasonable and they are flexible with custom orders
