I don't think I've ever been to a medical or dental office as disorganized about billing as this place. I and my two kids each went there, and for 2/3 of us they didn't bill our insurance initially and billed me instead. The Coulee Dam office is only open one day a week, and I called the Ephrata office but they didn't seem to have the ability to fix anything from there. After they did "fix" it I got another bill for $10 I didn't really owe. Long story short, it probably would have been less trouble to drive out of town to see a dentist than to deal with all of that nonsense.

The visits themselves were fine for the most part, except that the technician gave me a ridiculous number of X-rays and I didn't appreciate all the radiation exposure. She tried to tell me it was because they don't have a newer style X-ray machine, but I've gotten the older type of X-rays many times over the years at other places, and they never had to take that many pictures.

My wife and I went here about 1 year ago. Dr. Northrup recommended we both get a bunch of "cavities" filled. Since the dental industry has moved toward only filling cavities when absolutely necessary, we got a second opinion from a dentist in Spokane. The new dentist we visited said we had no cavities and needed no fillings, and that maybe this dentist wanted to do fillings on stains (not cavities). Additionally, we had in network fully covered dental insurance and the office's billing company kept sending us bills for money we didn't owe them. It took 6+ months for them to stop sending us bills. If we had just paid the overcharge, we would've been out money that we didn't even owe this office. I would seriously question the ethics of this dental office.
