I LOVE this place!!! Staff is so friendly and accommodating. The salad bar is my best recommendation! Fresh, plentiful and many choices. The atmosphere is homing and no waiting for another drink. I just wish they were opened longer. Seems they are closed during lunch.
They have comedy shows on weekends, but need to advertise them more. I love comedy shows and no where near them have them!!!

32 oz for a good price and on a Monday night. If you are hungry come here :) the service was great as well

Stopped by for dinner on the Saturday before Memorial Day with a party of 4 adults and 2 kids. I was concerned at first because they seemed thrown by a party of six, but everything was great. Food was all cooked well, with good portion sizes. The salad bar was fresh with some obviously house-made items that were very good. Best of all was the service, the staff worked as a team and made sure that we were well taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend and will visit again the next time I visit the area.

Went with my family and had a great time. The boys had a pizza with a great crust and my wife had eggplant parmesan she enjoyed very much. My stuffed pork chops were very good. I had trouble eating all my food because I had to much of the ample salad bar. I recommend that you go and enjoy a good meal with great service.

Sweet Basil is always fantastic. You're greeted as soon as you walk in the door and seated immediately. When you get to your table you're told about whatever specials they have you go to the salad bar and get your food. Once our order was placed it came out there table within 15 minutes and the food is always fresh hot and taste great. We don't ever go during dinner because I have to work so lunch is one we always go. Anytime you want to get something great to eat fast and have the addition of a salad bar we go to Sweet Basil. You should give it a try as well you won't be disappointed.

Awesome food and service - family run, white linens, Mob aesthetic - love this place. A salad bar is a great bonus when coming in for a heavy pasta meal. Just be sure to delay your order, so you have time to enjoy your salad before your entree is arriving!! Re-check 2020 - hindsight serves me (and you) well.

I attended the 50th birthday party at the home of my friend Mark. Sweet Basil catered the event. I was very impressed with the variety and quality of the food. The best part was the server Jennifer. She was very efficient and attentative to all. Not easy to make you're way through a pool party crowd of partiers. Jennifer was engaging with guests and made me and others say how hospitable.
A great time had by all..

This restaurant is our favorite. We go for weekly dinners and every occasion. We just moved from the Syracuse-Utica area and were having trouble finding good food. This is the only authentic Italian restaurant in the area. The kitchen has some terrific talent in it. It’s reasonably priced and has a really good salad bar. Highly recommend.

Tried Sweet Basil bc we had a Groupon and it definitely didn’t disappoint!!!! Waitress (Rakel?) was amazing and super accommodating. The food was beyond amazing. We had the shrimp jammers and I could’ve eaten those all night! The sirloin and prime rib were cooked absolutely perfectly. The fried calamari was great; could have used a tad more breading but was very good. We have already purchased our next Groupon to go back again!

Very unassuming place...we came in early afternoon. There was hardly anyone in the place...we sat and ordered thing the food would be mediocre at best...boy were we wrong!!
The Sweet Basil Restaurant had a fantastic Chicken Parm with a perfect sauce and cooked to perfection. The waitress Anna was attentive and very warm and sweet. I would checking this place out if you are in the area!

The food was amazing and great quality, they have a very nice salad bar with a lot of options. I just went for the first time last night and will be returning many times. Service was amazing and quick. Overall very cute place and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Coming from the city where pizza is always the best, Sweet Basil is right up there with it. The fresh cooked to order pizza was so good the bread soft, the mozzarella fresh and the staff happy. Loved it and will definitely be frequently visiting there for dinner every time we come to visit.

It was a nice place to go eat at. Very neat & clean and the Server's were very freindly and fast service in getting our meal's too us. Family oriented too. Resturant easy to get to and locate. The food was delish. So don't miss out check it out for urselve's you'll be glad ya did.

Service was excellent, salad bar was excellent, my eggplant rollitini was excellent, and being from Long Island ,New York....Dinner for 2x....Prices are excellent,.....So much food they give you !!!After the salad bar I was stuffed! !!Then dinner came,....wow.....I don't see restraunts on Long Island like this anymore!!!I would definitely go back again.My husband order stuff chicken with mozzarella and spinach.....Huge portions!!!He said it was delicious! !!!- looked delicious! !!

Waiter is attentive, polite and fast. We had stuffed chicken breast with a creamy sundried tomato sauce that just danced on the tongue! I recommend this place and will return.

Very good place to get a pit stop😀. Pizza is really good ("not like some other 's junk"). Pasta was great. Service is fast even though we came right after a bus full of tourists got offloaded.

If you are looking for a fancy tablecloth restaurant with an air of uber-rich fine dining, then Sweet Basil is not for you.

On the OTHER hand, if you are looking for a restaurant with a comfortable, home-like decor, and EXCELLENT food and service, this is a must stop at place!

They have a very good salad bar, amazingly generous sized entrees and appetizers, and a friendly and proficient staff. I definitely suggest the prime rib - unreservedly. If you REALLY like prime rib, try the "King Cut" (but better bring a BIG appetite). No matter what size you get, it'll be an amazing steak experience.

Personally, I like my normal steaks well done. I am always leary of getting prime rib well done, since it generally turns out charred. Sweet Basil, like so few other places I've found, seems to slow cook theirs, ensuring that even a well done prime rib can be cut with a butter knife (not that they don't give you a big steak knife - but I had to try when I realized how tender and juicy my well done cut was). Flavorful, big proportions, and cooked the way prime rib should be!

Worth the stop if you're anywhere near it!

One family favorite for sure!! We eat here often ALWAYS a wonderful meal! Kind courteous staff. Family owned! Suzy Q is one great waitress!!

Everything was perfect. JJ always makes sure his customers feel welcome. Excellent prime rib and outstanding chicken marsala! We will be back soon!!

Food was awesome and the place and people were very nice. Great end to our day at the Great Escape near by. Definitely going back to try more dishes.
