Loved the Goat meat and the pork the best

My family is so happy to have found this place. We recently moved from The Bronx and missed the authentic food. After trying many different places in Sullivan County- We have found our spot. The food is always fresh and delicious. The place is immaculately clean and you are always greeted with a smile from the staff. I could not recommend this establishment more.

Great variety of amazing fresh food, the portions are large. The staff is very friendly and they always make sure your plate is to your liking. The dining area is clean and fun.

Food was amazing, atmosphere was nice and so was the owner. We had the chicken with yellow rice and black beans and it was the best chicken and rice I’ve ever had! The one thing that confused me was I believe the hours posted in the restaurant said open every day 8am-10pm but when I convinced my friend to drive 30+ minutes for it we found out it was closed 😞 and the store hours online said different hours then I saw at the restaurant. Anyway it’s still worth the drive to eat and we’ll be coming back again when it opens up 👍

I’ve been here twice and this places kills it. Anna and the family knock it out the park. If you want authentic Dominican/Puerto Rican home cooking then come here. Arroz con guandules, arrroz blanco con habichuelas, sancocho, carne, maduros and empanadas were delicious. All the best to this family. See you soon!

Food was fantastic. We had the goat and the beef stew. Easily enough food for two meals. Owners are super friendly. We’ll absolutely return.

We loved this place. A life guard at Kartrite recommended it - and he was SPOT ON. I highly recommend!!! Small place, you can eat in or do take out. Prices were great !!

All the food was freshly made & smelled delicious. Most importantly it tasted delicious with bursting flavors. The owners are welcoming & friendly. I would definitely be going back when in the area. I recommend you check it out.

Wow. This place is addictive. Super fresh. Big portions, fair prices and friendly people. Everything on the menu is great but the roast pork may be the best I’ve had. Next time you’re in Monticello make it a point to stop here. You won’t be sorry. And you’ll be back!

I’ve been here 3 times and all three times the food has been delicious, affordable for the crazy amount they give you, and everyone working there is really nice. The breakfast los tres golpes bien delicioso .. im Puerto Rican and I was craving some mangu and the meal didn’t disappoint . Can’t wait to have it again .

I ordered pernil, with rice and beans from the lunch combo. The skin on the pernil is sooo crunchy, the meat part is not greasy. I tried mofongo for the first time, I like it but it’s too garlicky for me, but all in all the whole meal was great!! I will order again for dinner😊
