This store is rightfully named “Brinkman’s Country Corner”, because it has a warm, homey feel that is far apart from many big box stores. It has plenty of heart and soul in both the atmosphere and staff, and plenty of items in each section with good selections to boot. This is indeed a place where I want to come back. Wonderfully local products. Wonderfully local place.

Love it all. Deli has alot to choose from. Produce is always fresh and always go there for tomatoes. There bags of homemade noodles are the only kind I will buy. Mark runs a great store.

EDIT: The handicapped access is all *replaced* by shiny, new, wide, textured, treated concrete ramps the go up to a fully replaced textured concrete porch! Brinkman's gains back that missing star!

So on to some *new* things I discovered! Too bad Google doesn't have six stars. Brinkman's would be my first review to earn all six! So what's the big deal?

I am a foodie. I look for exotic proteins. Guess who has them? Brinkman's. Buffalo, ground *and* steaks*! Ground boar (I wish they had chops!) Venison scallopini (!!!) Ground venison, of course. Ground elk. Alligator bites. Turtle meat. It's all there. Prices range from $19.99 a pound for ground venison, up to over $50 for a package of turtle meat. It's not cheap, *but*, where else can you find these proteins outside of a big city? Go to Brinkman's!

I found andouille! I *love* andouille! It's a Cajun delight: a (hot) spicy sausage that's essential for *many* Cajun dishes. With Mardi Gras coming up, I scored andouille for a *great* price, $6.99 for a package! That's *amazing*! It's only downside? I did *not* know Michigan makes andouille. We'll, beggars can't be choosers. I'll take it for a test drive, but if it passes, andouille is only 45 minutes away from me! ❤🙂🎉

OK, back to the original review:

This is not a chain store, not at all. The food side of their operation gives the impression of a well-curated selection of foods, from top quality fresh fruits and vegetables, to beautifully-butchered meats, which we found to be surprisingly-well priced. Another surprise was the authentic Bucyrus bratwurst for sale, but we're from Bucyrus so we buy them at the source. If you don't know, they're better than the national brands. Just trust me. Find them here! 😉

The candy selection is superb. Beware, it's front, center, and VERY well displayed. If you have little ones in tow you're not getting to the fruit and veggie section without dropping money here. Clever people. 😀

Anyways, they have a nice deli counter, although their prices were difficult to locate. A white board prominently displayed with current prices would be a helpful touch. 🙂

The center of the market is dedicated to aisles of meal additions, again focusing on curation rather than quantity. Tasty things can be found here to compliment your selections in the store's perimeter. Take your time and browse.

Finally, the smart people cruelly *loop you in* by placing their dessert counter *right next to the registers*. Yep, this is hard to get past. We didn't make it, we admit it. Good luck!

At checkout, we noted this market, surprisingly, accepts the Ohio Directions Card. As always, for handicapped friends, there is handicapped parking. The access ramps are new, wide, and anti-slip textured. The doors trigger easily, and the aisles are wide and free of obstructions. The checkout lanes are a bit narrow, again, but navigable. I am certain they will accommodate you.

We arrived late in the season for the garden center, but it is spacious, and we got a *fantastic* deal on a *beautiful* rose. The food we got at the market was all delicious. We'll be stopping back every time we're in Findlay, and maybe even making the occasional 45 minute drive up, when gas prices come back down out of orbit. 🙂

Local staple of Findlay. Known for their canned meat, bakery, local vegetables, and fresh meats.

I also recall they did vacuumed sealed items before other places started that. Many memories coming here as a kido. Also, greenhouse open during spring, summer and fall. Nice popcorn and jelly beans! Staff are friendly and attentive. "Small town" feal. A bit pricey on cheese and other items not unique to the store.

I've been going here since I was a wee little lad. My father would take us here to get candy and pick out the pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since he's passed I've decided to keep the tradition alive.

I was in Brinkman's yesterday (8-1-23), I engaged with 4 different employees-- each one was exceptional in service and with a helpful demeaner. Special thanks to the Bakery team who went above and beyond helping me prepare for a party with a variety of baked goods!

Drive 45 minutes to this store. I love the frozen vegetables. Buy 2 of each. The pies, breads and baked goods are the best! I tried the chocolate covered eclaires, never had a better one.

Unique and tasty offerings to be found here in an establishment that seems highly reliable and constantly good. Try something from their own salad dressing line as they are very good, or pick up something homemade for dinner from the deli. After numerous times here the staff has always been very courteous, efficient and extremely helpful with a smile. My only recommendation at this time would be to update some of the ingredients used (i.e. baked goods) to fit a more current healthier/active lifestyle.

I love brinkmans and it's close to my house. They sell a variety of deli items like different salads, Cole slaw etc. They do have some hot foods. They have a selection of individual meals that just need heated up. They have a really big delicious assortment of baked goods that they make there. They also have a selection of baked goods from local bakers. They have an assortment of candies/pop corn and different kinds of bread. They sell mackinaw fudge flavors. There is a small grocery section and dairy section too. Everyone who works here is super nice

This is one place you get what you pay for, I try to come here one a week just so I can buy meat for my weekend bbq. The steaks here are some of the best steaks I have ever had, and they have many kinds of bratwurst that my kids love. They also have and amazing bakery section they is hard to stay away from because they taste and look so amazing!!!
