Great small town restaurant. Really great service to start. Nice daily specials to follow. Attention to detail with the food with good prices as a closer and what you have is a great small town restaurant. I had the blacken steak on night, a blue cheeseburger another and the Friday prime rib today. Each was done perfectly and I was always waited on quickly and with attention. Your biggest question driving thru grand coulee and electric city is which place.to stop for grub. This has to be the first choice.

Overwhelmingly good food, underwhelming environment. You can't beat the view. Be aware, all tables are for groups 4 or less. If you have a larger group than 4 it is best to call ahead and make a reservation. Burgers and amazing, steaks are to die for. Salad is fresh. There is something for everyone.

I can't say enough good things! Everything was great! The steak, fish, salads and home made sauces were excellent! The owner clearly knows how to cook. Great view of the dam and super friendly service. I will eat here every time I come to grand coulee!

Stopped for dinner was a 45 minute wait but worth it! Tim, our bus guy was excellent and took care of our drinks all night long. Juan, the owner can out at our request do we could complement his cooking and staff. A great find.

My girlfriend and I had a great time eating at Melody's. (A Saturday at opening). We were in the mood for breakfast, but they're a lunch and dinner place. That being said, they were happy to toss an egg into my SW Wrap, and her BLT. Both dishes were fantastic - not at all greasy. Our sides were waffle fries akd a garden salad. Both were tasty. The service was genuine, responsive, professional, quick, and kind.

When you walk in the place it is very simple in decor, but the wait staff is friendly, fast as they can possibly be when busy and the kitchen staff is quick and good. Side salads were great and the shrimp scampi is yummy! If you stopped here 2 years or later and were disappointed, try it again. Great food, friendly people.

This was an unexpected stop and I'm so glad we did. It was pretty slow when we got there and seated ourselves. We were a party of four, two adults and two younger kiddos. The owner/chef, Juan, was the one to take our orders and serve us. He was prompt with drinks and coloring stuff for the kids. And then we got the food. We had a kids hamburger, chicken strips, fish and chips and a Melody burger. My husband, a bit of a burger connoisseur, said it was probably the best burger he's ever had. Everything else wad delicious. We also tried the creme brulee (my fave) and it was so completely on point... better than some of the expensive places in Seattle I've dined at.

After our meal, we stayed around for a few minutes chatting with Juan and found out that he makes most everything from scratch. He makes his own buns and breads, dressings and dips, everything is breaded to order. We were so impressed with his food and we plan on coming back for our next date night. The drive from Ephrata will be completely worth it! Job well done, Juan and company. We'll be back!

What a gracious and professional staff! Their home-made clam chowder sells out every Friday and takes 1/2 the day to prepare. We always, ALWAYS order it.
Cajun Fish Street Tacos are better than in Puerto Rico and the south.
This lovely restaurant has won top awards in the counties and is so pleasant to be in.

As my 12 year old said "don't judge a book by it's cover". Wow! After fine dining in Seattle, we stopped off in Grand Coulee for the night and decided Melody would be out best option before watching the light show on the dam. Fantastic food and great service!

We asked several local people if there was a place to eat in Coulee Dam (on May 17, 2015) they would recommend. They all said Melody, and they were right. The seating and decor are a skosh on the lower end, but I learned that the new owner, Juan, hasn't had the place very long. My wife and I both ordered the cobb salad, and we were both very impressed. The salad was presented perfectly and all the ingredients were as fresh as they could be, most locally grown. The honey mustard dressing and bread were delicious and, as we learned, were made in-house. Juan stopped at the table and chatted with us; it was obvious that he cares about the food he prepares and appreciates customer feedback. The service was excellent, by one of the most beautiful and gracious waitresses we've ever seen. I highly recommend Melody.

The Melody is a perfect model for anyone thinking of breaking into the food business. Service is streamlined to perfection while tending to every need. Everything is clean. The food is simply outstanding.
Two things really stood out for me. It's clear from the minute you walk in that the staff are happy- something we don't see that much of here in the Basin. We came in on the evening of the 4th of July, kinda late, and nobody, I mean Nobody, was grumpy or bummed out, even though it was clear they had been and still were really busy. You could see and kind of hear the kitchen staff and all were laid back and happy. Twenty people came in all at once and not one employee showed an ounce of frustration. The wait staff and kitchen just did their thing and everyone was served and happy without a single hitch. Amazing.
The best part last- the food and the chef who makes it what it is. This man has mad skills and it is immediately apparent that he loves what he does. We ordered the clam appetizer, the Chick Gorgy tortellini, and a shrimp salad with a ginger-orange dressing. For dessert we both had the creme brulee. We also ordered a loaf of his homemade organic bread to take home. I could go on forever about the skill this chef possesses but this is already turning into a book. Suffice it to say OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always been a foodie and am not easy to impress but, Juan, you've impressed me immensely. This planet needs more folks like you, dedicated to making clean food taste its very best all while servicing volume flawlessly.

Best food around! Recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous meal. Tacos, steak, burgers.. All meals are great and paired well with the sides. Not your run of the mill, same ole food kinda place

One of the two best eateries in our local area that offers good service and great food. Service can be slightly stranded with a large volume of customers though, the food is fresh and tasty and worth the wait.

Dine-in for a ribeye with potatos, zucchini & side salad - cooked to perfection! Pepper & smoke seasoning on steak was an added touch. Service was excellent - friendly wait staff.

There fish and chips are delicious. I would recommend it 5 stars. The other food was great good portions. I would recommend this restaurant to eat at. Passing thru or visiting.

Probably the only REAL sit-down place in the gcd area. Good food, nice prices, and a surprisingly high number of menu options for such a small town. If you've gotta go someplace tonight than this and la-prasa (hope I'm spelling that right) are basically your best options almost on an objective level.

My wife and I have been here twice. Both times have been great experiences. The food is good, the staff is nice.

The owner is a chef, and adds flair to the menu items. His cook is also great. The portion sizes are healthy, not heaping.
