River Rock Inn & Deli Garden Cafe

Very convenient if you are road tripping to Yosemite national park. The room was nice, good size and the bed was comfortable. Everything was good and the price amazing. You can arrive late at night with no problem. And leave as early as you need. Right next to it there is a really cool cafe where all the cool people goes have breakfast. Didn't try it, because it was too cool for me, but looked like people really liked it.

I sure do, after finding this place. It’s in the middle of town close to shops and restaurants, all good. Best part though is the setting and the service. The proprietor made sure everything was good to go before handing over the room key, as I had arrived a tad early.

She made me feel welcome. Can’t ask for much more than that.

I write this in the evening of my stay. Can’t wait to experience the cafe in the morning.

Out of all the accommodation I saw in Mariposa I really think this the best located as its basically in the centre of town but off the main road so you don't get the noise or traffic. The town itself is so cute and friendly, and River Rock Inn fits in perfectly with the quaint vibe.

The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable and the room has everything you need in it including microwaves. Travelling as a family of 5 from Australia and not used to the cold we carry a lot of stuff with us and are often busy and disorganised, we didn't need our rooms made up or any assistance from anyone really so we enjoyed the privacy of this place.

So glad I chose River Rock Inn as the base for our Yosemite experience!

The stay at this place was amazing, the staff very attentive and accommodating. The rooms were impeccable and the vintage vibe from the Inn makes you feel welcomed. If you are looking for a place to stay near Yosemite and you want it to be affordable and neat this is the place. Definitely will come back.

Booked this motel last minute on a vacation since we decided we wanted to hike Yosemite national park. This motel checked all the boxes for us. This motel was very fairly priced, was very quiet at night, each room had a mini split for ac, and the shower was good. Would definitely recommend it.

Randomly booked this place while on a road trip for one night and it was lovely, good location.. only a short walk to the main street.
The Room was lovely and it had a nice decking area with a fire pit outside which we could sit outside at night.

If you are going to Yosemite and don't want to stay in the park this is the place. The rooms where nice with a comfortable bed. the ac works great too. Merriposa is a great little town and the history of the hotel was super cool.

I stayed here for three nights with my dog. It’s a super charming little place with lots of individual touches. Comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels, clean, great setting just off the main road, and easy walking distance to everything Mariposa has to offer. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Simply wow ! We went to this place due to wind advisory in Yosemite and the people who run this place are super nice . I even had an issue with the internet and they went to the room to try to help me . The rooms have everything and they are super comfortable . You don’t even need to go to any reception to do the check in which makes it really comfortable in these days . And what I liked the most was the cafeteria they got , they have a super delicious coffee, teas and toast!

This is a historic hotel in a super comfortable setting. We rented 3 rooms and had a family reunion there. The staff are extraordinary --- super helpful, gracious, and accommodating. They have a great outdoor picnic table made from huge logs. This is a great place to hang out all evening shooting the breeze over a few bottles of wine. The rooms are small, but clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. What a great combination! Staying at the River Rock Inn was a major highlight of our trip. We look forward to staying there again.

I've stayed here numerous times. The beds are strangely comfortable. I actually pulled off the cover to see what brand it us. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. It's a nice, inexpensive way to stay near the park.

Rooms were clean and neat. Bed was super super comfortable. I had to look at the brand of the mattress too, as good as my sleep number bed adjusted to firm. Bathroom was clean and big with separate vanity. Locartion was prime too with shops and restaurants within a block or two. Will def stay here again.

My husband and I recently stayed a week at the River Rock Inn. The staff was very friendly, sociable and helpful. They went above and beyond for us during our stay. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was on detail with anything needed. My husband even stated that the oatmeal cookies we received on the first night were the best he has ever had! The Inn is centrally located to many restaurants, stores and to Yosemite National Park. We would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable, quiet, cozy and charming room. This little hotel is just a half block off of the historical main street with plenty of downtown restaurants, shops and beer/wine tasting, pubs with musical entertainment. We're locals, and came here to stay for a "date night", and it was so nice to have a couple of drinks downtown and just walk back to our room. Hotel has satellite TV, a mini fridge and coffee maker, and their Deli Garden cafe has food that is off the charts with plenty of vegetarian options. Mariposa is a fun little town close to Yosemite and a great place to relax after hiking and site-seeing. Lots of history in town because of John C Fremont and the gold-rush.

Fantastic stay, owners go above and beyond to make you happy. My girlfriend and I thought the room was perfect!

YARTS bus to Yosemite is steps away, gym is steps away, multiple restaurants are steps away, what else do you need?

This place is adorable! Very comfortable clean rooms, owners are fantastic, and the attached cafe has the best coffee in town! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Mariposa's oldest Inn. Pet friendly, clean, comfortable and cozy. We found ourselves here after a day exploring Yosemite and we had no complaints.

Stephanie was kind, welcoming and was able to answer any questions we had about the surrounding area. The rates were great, especially considering there were no extra fees for the dog.

They do their breakfast in their own cafe and they feature a few homemade items such as granola and cookies. There's also a lovely patio to catch some Sun on a clear morning before your Trek into the valley. Also, it's within walking distance to just about anything you could desire when you're finally ready to end your day. Looking to grab a couple drinks? No need to fight over who will DD because the pubs and restaurants are a couple blocks away.

If you're looking for an affordable and cozy inn to use as your base for adventures in Yosemite, then look no further.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful I've ever been in. The town is so nice and landscape too. The room was clean and confortable. They gift you with a delicious cookie and free coffee in the room. Is the best choice.

The hotel staff and owner were incredibly flexible and accommodating. We arrived late and had to leave early, and the owner opened up the deli in the middle of the night and let us pick out our breakfast to eat on the road the next day. These people know the meaning of customer service and we will be staying there again next time we visit Yosemite.

I loved it. Comfortable, clean and charming. I loved the company of the resident cat, Orange Juice, O.J. for short (he was outside, but I would have let him in). The staff was friendly - more like friends than staff. Next time I'm in Mariposa, I'm staying here.
