My husband and I were married here 25 years ago. We came back to celebrate our anniversary and re-create a few of our wedding photos. The manager, Lindsay, was absolutely amazing! When we told her about our plans for photos, she immediately went out and bought me a bouquet for the pictures. She also patiently helped us stage our photos and take them for us. On top of all of that, the Castle itself was immaculate and regal, yet very comfortable and relaxing. The breakfasts were great, and the town of Redstone was fun, too. Everything about our experience was top notch. We highly recommend the Redstone Castle to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic trip or to anyone looking for a really cool, intimate setting for a wedding. Just contact Lindsay, and I'm sure she will make it happen!

Though more awareness would make it harder to book based on limited space. Hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time. Looking for a romantic getaway look no further. Drove 5 hours from the front range for a romantic weekend with wife and had no regrets. The castle is definitely haunted but if ghosts don't bother you then you will enjoy. The care takers were awesome and the breakfast + wine was icing on the cake.

Incredible historic castle in Colorado that is a must see for antique and history lovers! Jennifer, the Innkeeper is amazing and made our stay wonderful! She is so incredibly knowledgeable about the Castle, her insight made our stay even better. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, full of history and antiques. The grounds are stunning and the views amazing. Food was excellent - all around awesome place!

The only reason I wouldn't leave a glowing review would be to selfishly keep this place a secret. My wife and I stayed at the castle for our anniversary and it was the perfect trip. Jennifer and Pete go out of their way to make you feel at home, while still giving you the space and freedom to enjoy the property like it's your own. They are the perfect hosts. The history of the property is amazing, views from the rooms are phenomenal, beds are comfortable, and rooms (more like suites) are spacious and private. Looking forward to our next opportunity to visit again.

We stayed at the castle June16-18 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Study Suite. The hosts -Jennifer and Pete- were gracious, very knowledgeable about the property's history, and fabulous cooks. We enjoyed an appetizer reception, perfect breakfasts with a view, and personalized tours of the property. What really makes it special is the care put into restoration by the current owners and the unique experience they provide. It's like getting to spend the night in a museum and while making yourself at home! We particularly enjoyed playing pool on John Osgood's pool table and checking out the 2-story gazebo.

Redstone Castle is better than ever, and Jennifer is the perfect hostess. We stayed here 30 years ago, before it closed down, and the new owners have preserved/repaired/restored everything perfectly while keeping the original beauty. The new shower stalls in the suites are a great addition, and do not detract at all from the historical feel. The amenities - coffee outside your door, fantastic 24/7 kitchen, beverages, appetizers, wine, breakfast - are all first-rate. This is one of our favorite places on earth, in a beautiful setting in the Crystal River Valley, and we're so happy it's available to us again.

We were a party of 4 at the tour and masks are required. Our tour guide Becky was very knowledgable on the history of Osgood and the castle. She was very personable and answered every question. The current owners have brought the castle back to its former glory. The woodwork, stone and marble work, 14 marble fireplaces, amazing windows with the special treat of the lighting. You can reserve nights at the castle. Our tour was $150 for our group of 4 and 1.5 hours. Between our guide Becky and the amazing castle and castle grounds we thoroughly enjoyed our tour!!!

This is an expensive, but thoroughly unique and enjoyable experience. There is a wine and cheese reception every afternoon followed by a fascinating tour of the castle. Warning, however - there is no restaurant and no bar. This is essentially a B&B, but what a breakfast- omelets or souffles, breakfast meat, yogurt parfaits with fresh local fruit, French toast, scones(not all at one sitting, of course), a veritable feast. We had nice conversations with other guests, and Candace and Vicki were wonderful hostesses.

My husband & I stayed at the Redstone Castle over my birthday weekend & were absolutely blown away by the incredible castle. My husband loved the history, I loved the luxury, & we both loved the atmosphere, the super friendly & attentive manager, & the all-around five star experience we had. The beds were comfy, rooms were exceptionally clean, and linens and towels were cozy. We would go back & stay in a heartbeat, & definitely recommend to everyone!

The Castle is the most beautiful AND historical place to stay, incomparable to anything we've experienced. The suites and common rooms are filled with original furnishings dating back to 1902, yet can be used and enjoyed with no restriction (that amazed me!). The grounds are just plain beautiful and offer hours of enjoyment as you walk along numerous available paths, or just sit and soak it in. This is a perfect getaway for special occasions--this was our 50th anniversary, a wonderful experience. We also enjoyed amazing breakfasts every morning; cheese, crackers, and wine in the afternoon; and outstanding, friendly service. The Castle's chef, Ryan, and Candace were amazing, always anticipating our needs and desires. Spend more than one night--the area also offers sight-seeing and other recreation activities like off-roading, hiking, and spectacular views. Thank you, everyone, for a perfect experience!

This was a last minute get away. I wish we had more time there but now that I have been there, I WILL go back. It was like a historic tour that had NO ROPES and no "No admittance" signs posted. A part of history that we got to live in and experience for ourselves, not just see from behind a rope! The finishing touches were beautifully done. The restorations were perfect. The tour was enlightening and full of details - no rushing! The breakfast that was included was NOT what you expect. It was a castle breakfast made just for us! I absolutely LOVED this experience and plan to return with family and friends because I am lucky enough to only be a couple hours drive from this GEM!

Beautiful historical place to come for the tour or stay for the night. Very unique experience 🏰 it's helpful to call ahead for reservations as there is no signal in the town of Redstone. There is however possibility to call from Redstone Inn to reserve for tour if you are already in town. Well worth the price! ✔

The town of Redstone is very cute little town with warm people and the best pizza! ( Propaganda). Redstone Inn also has very good food to dine in. Don't forget to check out the coke ovens and the beautiful scenery with hikes close by ❤

Redstone Castle is a place of great beauty, inside and out. The Castle itself is a wonderful place to rest and recharge. The classic architecture is my favorite part. Candace is a great tour guide, mentioning many details that bring the history of the manor to life. A romantic destination, my husband and I have been privileged to spend two anniversaries there, making our celebrations that much more special.

Awesome place. I enjoyed the tour so much. It is not one of the tour where the guide just blah blah. No it is more of fun facts and interesting rich history of colorado. The antique are absolutely gorgeous to look at and you can touch and set and take all kind of pictures that you like. Highly recommended if you are going near that area

We cannot say enough about the entire stay at this 23,000+ sqft mansion! The historical tour was not only educational but fascinating...it’s amazing that so many of the original furnishings and decor have been maintained in this 100+ yr. old property while maintaining the luxury of the home! Pete, the innkeeper was incredibly accommodating, nice and knowledgeable about the property (and a fantastic cook—delicious appetizers before the tour and breakfast the next morning). We loved the Roosevelt suite (a separate bedroom, bathroom & sitting room—like a little apartment). The oversized claw foot tub and special robes were relaxing and cozy. We will definitely be back and next time for more than just one night! Highly recommend this hidden jem just 30 or so minutes from Glenwood Springs!

Three friends and I spent two nights here. Absolutely amazing place to visit, the history is so interesting, the castle itself and interior furnishings could not be more beautiful, so well taken care of. The staff is great, could not have asked for a better experience.

From the moment we walked into the Castle, greeted by Pete, and escorted to our Suite, we realized what a gem we had found. The manager's reception was delightful, and tour, by Jennifer, helped us to realize we were now part of this intimate and genuine, historic home. You can play pool on the original table or partake in other games in the game room. Lounging in the historic registry "great room" is decadent, with fantastic views. Jennifer and Pete are the most perfect and gracious hosts while respecting our privacy. This is the most beautiful Bed and Breakfast ever. Do not miss an opportunity to stay here. It is magical.

Our family vacationed here in the 1960's. It was a magical place to be! Memories of the castle have stayed with me ever since. The Carriage House, the Great Room, the Roosevelt Suite, the Sun Room, the Billiards' Room. Would love to get back there!!!!!
