Lotus Thai & Khmer Cuisines

My new happy spot in Stockton! An authentic Khmer restaurant also serving sister Thai and Laotian dishes or variations. We got the papaya salad Thai style (no fish sauce) instead of Lao style (fish sauce) which paired great with the grilled chicken and rice plus beef skewers (6 per order). Loved the pickled veggies served with the grilled meats. The red curry noodle soup was a rich broth and spicier than the one I grew up with but much appreciated by my spicy loving hubby. My Thai tea was perfect and helped me on the drive back to the East Bay. Kids loved the sticky rice and #1 rice noodle soup special. Well run small family owned business!

Everything I've tried has been amazing and slightly different than other Thai restaurants I've been to.
The Thai curry I'm very impressed with, and the server she's always smiling and having fun talking to customers.
We will definitely be returning for lunch here on a regular basis. 😋

Server was really nice to my family, checked if we needed anything every 8 min. My parents loved the food and the hospitality. We will be back. Food was worth more then the price. Thai tea was to die for.

A small place that's harder to spot off somewhere like Pershing.

Quite a nice small environment and looks like a pho store.

Friendly staff and food was nice. I had the Pad Thai which was made very well. Flavoring was done well. Thai Ice Tea was also made well too, although much harder to mess up. Hard to say too much since these are very easily prepared.

Had a couple friends who like more of the Thai and Khmer cuisine that enjoyed the food as well. Would come back again in the future.

Alina was great to our big party. Absolutely love this family environment. She took great care of us as did her daughter. The Khmer food was excellent. Consider supporting them

Best Thai/Khmer Restaurant I’ve ever been to everyone is so nice and understanding here they give fair portions of food the taste of the food is authentic I found out about this place three days ago and been there two times already 10/10 will be going again soon for sure! They’re also not stingy with anything!!! The price is also very affordable for amazing food

Pad thai is ok but the Khmer salad is a must try item.

Tried this place today on a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is tucked away on a side street, with a parking lot. The space is relatively small (seats 40ish) and the menu is limited, but everything we tried was tasty and fresh. Tried the fresh (vs. fried) spring rolls and a soup noodle dish and both were excellent - the shrimp in the rolls had a great texture and the lettuce was crisp. You could tell they were assembled to order and not sitting around for a few hours. Apparently they're known for their noodle dishes, and noticed orders of papaya salad on other tables along with Thai coffees and teas. The service was attentive and fast, and the food came out quickly. Best of all this place is clean - front of the house, restrooms and the kitchen (I peeked on my way to the bathroom). What a gem, can't wait to try other items on the menu!

Not quite a 5, but definitely not a 4. We ordered 1 Pad Thai which is quite good, but the tofu is a little dry. The squid in my bowl of noodle is a little overcooked, and that makes it less perfect. We also ordered a traditional Cambodian salad which is decent. Overall, taste is very good and the place looks clean with nice waiting staffs. Will come again to try other dishes

Food is great service is awesome

Food was delicious! A well lit restaurant was a spacious inside. Red curry chicken noodles was spicy yet delicious. And pad thai have strong subtle flavor and delicious papaya salad. Employees were nice and friendly.

This was my first time here. I ordered food Togo and the nice lady that took my order said it would be about 7min. She said she’d clear a table for me to sit and wait. She also asked if I wanted something to drink while waiting. I was surprised and pleased with the excellent service. The food is amazing, you won’t be disappointed.

The place is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The food are great! I recommend the spring rolls with the dipping sauce. Their fried rice are very tasty. If you like papaya salad, they can make it to your liking....as spicy as you want.

Food came out super fast, fresh and delicious! You know a restaurant is solid when they don't have a hundred items on their menu. I wish they had more vegetarian options though. Also, regarding the service, you know it's authentic when you feel emotionally assaulted by the end.

Fast service, compared to most Khmer reastaurants I've been to, but it does seem to be missing a lot of the lemongrass based dishes that are in authentic Khmer dishes, such as nohm brajok and brahok kteas. Had the dried noodle. Delicious! Super impressed with the paper straws.

My favorite restaurant at the moment! They never disappoint! They have a smaller menu, which I love because they are able to keep the dishes consistently on point! Their Thai Boat Beef Noodle, Pad Thai, Laap, and Papaya Salad are probably my favorites if I had to choose, but seriously, everything is good! They recently added dessert (yay!) their mango and sweet sticky rice with custard is so yummy! I left there today feeling so satisfied and ready for a nap LOL! In addition, they have cute decor, attentive and friendly service, beautiful presentation of their dishes, clean bathrooms, and very reasonable prices... totally nailing everything!

Five stars here means that it is an outstanding example of what it holds itself out to be. It's a Southeast Asian restaurant where the service is a little better, the egg rolls a little crispier, the flavors a little brighter than usual. On top of that it adds Cambodian cuisine -- the product of a centuries-old culture with its own special refinement that is not often the general Amrican public. Add all that to an up-to-date and sparkling interior and you've got one happy dining experience.

Located a literal stone's throw from the University of the Pacific campus, it's on the side of Pershing that is still moving upscale. Led by this gem of a restaurant. If you like Thai don't miss it.

Basil Chicken with a fried egg and Thai tea. Oh my scrumptious!!

New and small Thai restaurant here in Stockton. Very attentive staff. Food was really delicious, and you can tell it's mom and pop shop. Their menu lists 20 food items with photos so you know exactly what you are getting.

Some of the best Thai food i've ever had! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by an extremely professional and friendly staff. The food was terrific and even the atmosphere of the restaurant is very soothing. I will be back again and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal!
