Carelli's Pizzeria Pasta

All I can say is WOW!!! The Pizza I've always been searching for!!! If you want authentic New York Pizza look no further, the owners are incredible warm folks who are a joy to visit with and know their stuff about pie!!! The dough is exquisite with the perfect chew and a flavor that stands alone, and the sauce is subtle but delicious and marries the whole pie together in a perfect harmony. World Class Pizza! Craig Colorado you got a Great One!!!

A great stop as you head out or into the mountains or anywhere! Crispy crust with just the right amount of doughy edges. Slices ready to go or whole pies. A surprising amount of choices all wrapped up in a classic pizzeria style setting.

Fantastic owners, but by far best pizza in Craig!! Fresh and delicious! Great conversation and friendly environment! Absolutely recommend!

Occasionally come to Craig for work, this is my favorite place to eat. Had the prime rib special with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies, it was very good. They also have a great craft beer selection and make an awesome old fashioned. Can’t wait to come back

Had the hard to find but very delicious money bags pasta. Oh it was well prepared and wonderful. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely need to return.

Went with my grandmother for dinner, Megan our waitress was wonderful. Someone in the back wasn't allowing tables for reservations more then an hour plus out. Megan diffused the situation with her wonderful personality. She's so warm and fun to talk to! The food was great but the service was fantastic.

I liked the Greek salad I got here a few days ago! I find that Carelli's is a fine choice for lunch while in Craig and it seldom lacks visitors. It is a very lively restaurant and in the evenings you can also get a great dinner. I recomend splitting one of their pizzas between friends and taking the leftovers home.

Only place to find a great pizza in Craig! Even under new ownership, I am reminded of the amazing pizzas I loved while living in New England. Carelli's is a local gem!

This is probably the finest dining experience in Craig, especially for all you Italian and beer lovers. The pizza is fire baked and the beer club selection is varied. It's a little pricey and the space is usually packed on Friday/Saturday night, but delicious nonetheless. Join the beer club if you're ever in town on a regular basis for rare brews. It's pretty sweet.

Great pizza and very friendly staff. We would come back anytime.

It was my first time in Craig, CO. Carelli's pizzeria was one of the recommendations from FOH at the Hampton Inns hotel. After a bit of a Google at various menus we chose Carelli's and what a great choice it was. From the outside it didn't look open but upon stepping inside we received a friendly welcome and could see it was quite busy. Our waitress was a bit slow but it was only her 2nd day and she was great in every other regard. There's a huge choice on the menu, I ordered the pork chop with cherry sauce which was fantastic. My other half had the spaghetti/meatball meal which was also very very good. I had a couple of the various 'Mule' cocktails, the Kentucky being my favourite. Would go back in a heartbeat. Parking is on street parking.

Super friendly staff and amazing food. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back. I had the fish and chips special and my husband had a their signature calzone. My kids ordered pizza and ravioli which they both liked.

Been here twice. Right on the money both times. Incredibly friendly staff, Lorie the bartender is full of smiles and chuckles. Food is great, hot obviously made from scratch and drinks are good and very reasonably priced. Hidden jewel in Craig Colorado.

Food is fantastic. Atmosphere great. Kinda pricey but worth it for me! They also have gluten free pizza, which is great because my son is gluten free. I do wish they offered a gluten free pasta dish though.
I would also love some veggie options, like broccoli alfredo or a mixed veggie pasta dish. Very delicious though!

The experience was excellent. A little colored in judgement to be honest, because my friend and I had a few drinks while waiting for the pizza to be made. We stayed, talking, for 15 minutes after closing before we realized, and their card machine ended up biting the dust. They informed us of local businesses in which housed an ATM so we could settle the bill. My friend and I ran around the surrounding blocks looking for a business with an ATM (hint: the nearby bank is your best option).

Returned, made some jokes with the staff, continued home to eat the pizza and listen to nostalgia music for hours ok end. Excellent experience!
