If you like a throwback in time... this is your place! The couple who owns this place are great and are very quick to make you happy. The food is great! Friendly atmosphere and very welcoming. I have been there twice when I visit from 🇨🇦 and I was just there recently and they remembered me🙂

I've been to this place a handful of times. The buildings a little run down but the burgers are as good as I've had! I usually get a double cheese and bacon burger with green chili. Can't beat it. If you come when they're busy, it tends to take a while, but it's always been hot and fresh when I get my order

They don’t play around…. Burgers 🍔 are delicious! Staff was awesome and the music in the dining room was great too! Go get you some!!!

I wish we had a Ma Brown’s in Texas. I can’t explain just how great their green chili burger is. This is best said a hole in the wall place. But it is just like the hamburger’s from years gone by. Parking lot is always full as well as the dining room. But we’ll worth the wait.

These are some of the best small business owners in Hobbs hands down! Not only do the owners treat you like family, but there always willing to take care of there customers! From a former chef at the Four Seasons, I’m always pleased with there food and customer service!!

Haven't had a Ma Brown's burger meal in about 43 years. Just moved back to the area. Stopped by the Grimes eatery after chasing storms. Got a double meat mustard all the way with cheese, a large fry and a medium DP. $16 out the door. WORTH every cent!!! Best meal I've had in a month. Very friendly people working there. Will definitely go back again and again. Enjoy.

We travel for my health care and it’s very hard to find places to eat. The food and service was outstanding!!! We made friends for life. We did the usual thing of asking a local for guidance and wow! Thank you for the kind words and love. May the Gods continue to bless you and yours. See you soon!

Ma Browns has really good burgers. Aside from burgers anything I've had there was good. It's not ultra fast to get your food BUT I don't mind that when I know I'm getting good food.

I went 2 minutes before close because I work late. They took my order and made it from scratch. I spoke to the gentleman who took my order for a good while after ordering and never once felt like I was a pain for going late. My food was delicious, made well and all employees I interacted with during my visit were very hospitable. Thank you for making our late dinner and hope to one day be of service to you all (Medlock and Associates in Hobbs) I enjoyed our conversation and food.

I was born in Hobbs, but moved away very young. My parents who lived here from the 50s to the 70s always talked about Ma Browns and how she had the best burgers. I've had bad and good burgers, but this is a great burger. The patty is hand-formed. You could smell the real meat cooking while waiting on order. The wait was long but that usually means fresh and it was worth it. The burger and fries were hot. The chocolate shake was one of the best I've ever had. The man, whom I take to be the owner, Ronnie, took my order asking me just how I wanted it made and did the cooking. Friendly without the usual scowl of chain places. Fast-food places even the ones who claim their food is fresh and real burgers need to look Ma Browns up and find out what a real old-fashioned hamburger is. I'm glad I listened to my parents and gave them a try.

I don't think I could ever say anything bad about this place. Ronnie has been taking care of me since I was little kid the food is prepared after you order it not before so you know it's fresh, He has made the dinning area into a way more comfortable atmosphere with the live plants and T.V.s and like I said. GREAT JOB RONNIE

Always great tasting food! The burgers here are by far the best in town. I read a review earlier which stated the cook was cursing 😁👎🏼. I’ve worked for the owner many years ago and know him & that indeed couldn’t be true. My husband would recommend Ronnies famous Dressed burritos they are 💣

Delicious burger! I had the hamburger added with cheese and green chili and I could only eat half of it. The burgers are very filling. Does take about 15-20 minutes but that’s because they are making it all fresh and it’s worth the wait.
