Finally made it back for Sunday brunch for the first time since the remodel and it didn't disappoint! The new decor is inviting, food and drinks were good, and the service remains friendly and top-notch. Crystal at the bar took great care of us! Appreciated improvements: the barstool-to-bar height ratio is improved (the old barstools were awkwardly low) and the lingering dishwater smell is gone!

Great selection of tequilas and cocktails, and a well designed South American influenced menu. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Thai place is perfect. Tons of food at a decent price and it’s delicious. Recommend the SOS before it sells out!

Best Margaritas!! If you combine the Blood Orange and the Caliente together you're in for a real treat. The food is always fresh and delicious and bartenders take great care of you.

With a varied menu of small seasonal plates, local ingredients and inventive cocktails from behind the bar @galleyscituate has established a loyal following in the Scituate restaurant scene. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted warmly. We were asked, inside or outside. After a short wait we were seated outside. Exactly where we wanted. Our waitress was menu and drinks knowledgeable. Plus she kept checking on us throughout the meal which provided us the opportunity to order additional items. Parmesan Fries, fish tacos and Brussels sprouts. Delicious. Large, local and varied beer selection.
From someone who loves dining out, Galley Scituate with it's enticing dishes, sexy vide and front windows open with the warm summer beezes blowing in is a fun dining experience. Plus the have weekend entertainment with local bands. It's the place to be and be seen on Front St. Galley Scituate as local as it gets.

New Renovation, New Menu, Food…

The five of us all who have eaten 50+ times here over the last few years had the same experience…terrible…it looks worse than it was, page’s of alcohol and one page of food; which was close to inedible. Apparently they’ve gone so far down market that the message seems to be they really just want a bar.

A real shame and waste of restaurant space in a town that can support much better restaurants!

Food was really good. Buffalo wings were amazing. We tried two different soup and both were amazing. They know how to make amazing margaritas as well. Freshest I have EVER had.

My first time visiting and wow was I impressed. From the moment we walked through the door the person who greeted us made us feel like family. They were so happy we were there. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the items on the menu and able to make recommendation. She always had a smile and made us feel welcomed. All the food was fresh, hot, and taste. Great atmosphere, food, and staff. Highly Recommend.

Great spot off the harbor. Very shareable menu and you’ll want to try a lot so bring some friends and order tapas-style. Thai-Chili wings are a great start. Cocktails are fantastic and the local craft beer draft list is on point.

Love their fried oysters , raw oysters, cheese boards and their Drinks are pretty good too.

This place is so diverse, they have top notch beer selections, bartenders who know what they're doing, and a chef who takes chances on dishes to push the local palate. They're tacos are great, sliders to die for, and the fried oyster plate is massive. I've been a few times now and everyone is very friendly, shoutout to the bar crew and our server Caroline!

Went for $1 oysters and "happy hour" snacks. Oysters were excellent. Appetizers were excellent. Waitress was excellent. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Lively place full of people, music, great food and great drinks. Beer can chicken tacos were loaded with chicken. Oyster po boy sliders were great as well. Atmosphere inside definitely makes the place a hit.

The drinks were epic! Bartenders on 11/19 were awesome, chimmichurri steak was to die for. Chocolate chip cookie skillet was epic. 15/10 will return

Best restaurant in the harbor. Have never had a bad meal or drink here. Lots of options different from what you can normally find around town. Recommend the hog shanks and grilled shrimp in particular. Service is always great.

What a selection of beer and food! Galley has so many beers on tap, matched only by their can and bottle selection; they have regulars as well as cycling taps. On top of that, they do some phenomenal cocktails!

The food is small plates, and again, so much choice. The cheese and meat board is always a hit with my family.

Stopped in for lunch and we were very happy we did! They make some crazy drinks that are great! My Oyster Po Boys were amazing ! Wife’s shrimp taco was great also!!!

Great food and service and the decor is lovely. Small plates were excellent as were the tacos. My only recommendation would be for the rice and beans to have a little more flavor. Will go back, for sure, and still worthy of five stars.

I'm a local, but time and time again I go to the Galley and fall in love all over. A little on the pricier side maybe, but you can't beat the atmosphere, outstanding beer selection (including lots of local craft beer), great cocktails and over and above service. Everytime I'm there I have experiences where the staff seems to be going out of their way to make me feel welcome and attended to-something so many establishments lack. A perfect date night or place to meet up with friends or even a spot to stop for a snack with the kids. The Galley is cool and trendy, but not pretentious and will never make you feel like you don't belong.
