I Have filed there multiple times amd every time the clerks and staff were wonderful

I was unfairly convicted at this court for breaking a restraining order then sentence to about 7 months in prison and now that I'm released I looked at the requirements needed to start a restraining order, I did none of them to the person who petitioned against me to start a restraining order in the first place. What I said was borderline a threat but not harmful to the point where it was going to result in family abuse or criminal offenses that result in injury to that person or her property. Although I was a little upset over a discussion we had that night, I have more self control than that. I willingly walked away from the situation before the cops showed up because I wanted too, not because they where coming. Without any danger or harm to the person I will add. They let me go and put a three day restraining order that was followed by a year long restraining order. A couple days later, I was thinking how this whole situation could've been avoided if we had better communication that night between me and the petitioner. I'm not mad though maybe the pregnancy hormones had something to do with it(which is a real studied thing that could occur after pregnancy). It's called post partum depression.The second time I got arrested for that offence I never even had contact with the person who petitioned against me just her family concerning my kid who we share biologically. I was let out of prison the same night. The third time I was arrested I admit I broke the restraining order but not to harm the person only to try to work out our problems. I was arrested a second time but this time held without bail. I served the amount of time for breaking the restraining order three times. When in truthfully I only broke the restraining order once which according to my research on Virginia law felony penalties for breaking a protective order should've been less severe than what I had to serve. The whole trial I felt was wrongly executed. I was never given a chance to speak and tell my side of the story. I was never able to reach my lawyer in prison to explain to her what happened before any of the court dates and when I tried to explain my story I was silenced by the judge. I even tried talking over him a few times respectfully to engage in the right to explain my side of the story. I didn't have a fair trial here. My final comment to this review is be careful if you have trial in this court and come prepared because even if you're in the right one of these judges could go unnecessarily hard on you without a fair trial.
