Trying to get my case sent from Lynchburg to Amherst. I was told to call Lynchburg SS. Might as well be calling the White House.

I get food stamps and for couple of months now just got a letter from Mrs Collins saying I didn't send her info she requested when I drove all the way up there and dropped it off it really bothers me for my social worker not to having does up there. my stuff but someone else so not cool a/ all

Very rude office, will switch case workers and not notify you, will denied you on benifits and assume they have the correct info and when you reach out they will not return calls and claim you never called. I had a case worker reach out to them on my behalf with signed forms to handle my case and they will refused to talk to them at all. When you ask them not to be snappy they get even more rude and refuse to help. They are not here for the community and don't care about them being there to help people worse office to deal with you will have better chances on the streets then getting help from this office. I called the head office and reported them and also figured out the fraud on my snap was never reported by this office be careful when dealing with them and document everything they need to be audited and need new workers

The absolute worst!!! Let's file papers, have people show up to court after taking time off work, just to be told they didn't do their job (not like they do any other time) and now you'll have to come back to court. So sure take another day off work to come deal with their mistakes! Social services is nothing more than a fancy child trafficking circle!!! I could seriously write a novel on all the wrong doings, false paper trails and the list goes on about this place and their employees!

Honestly as a child about to age out of the system this place is absolute hell. As soon as i got in there i had the rudest old woman as my case worker and then got switched thankfully but to someone just as incompetent. They require services and certain things but can't be bothered to actually do their job. Sent us 45 minutes away for a required doctors appointment and the incompetent workers at the office said we didn't need paper work. Low and behold of course you need paperwork for the doctor so we waited another hour until they finally answered THE DOCTORS OFFICE they could barely be bothered to answer that phone call this place makes me sick and it's case workers. I was kicked out with my little sister on friday night and the office couldn't be bothered to even try to contact us and waited until monday to place us. They are HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY YOU PAULA ! Finally leaving the doctors after they failed to fax over our information after an hour and a half.

They're the most rudest and inconsiderate people I've ever spoke to! They could care less about helping you. Definitely need new management to clean house! Seems like the minorities are the most rudest there smh

It's taken over 3 weeks to transfer my information from nelson to amherst & also said my daughters Medicaid was active & its not ! I've been dealing with this place for almost a month trying to get everything right. This is ridiculous! Yall really need to get it together.

These people gave my cousin back to his neglectful and drug addict parents. They were suppose to follow and never did. Know my cousin is worse off, and my elderly grandfather has to take care of him while he puts more time into his sociopath wife, and brings strange people over.

very unproffesional- before,i've been waiting weeks... then i get a letter for an appointment ,sent out the same day AS the appointment.... So now,we have NO food,& my child has nothing. only wish i had the finances to move!

Unfriendly, not very professional

Been close to a year and have heard nothing from them. I call and there to talk to someone then I'm send to a voicemail and never hear back from anyone .
