Travelers Inn -Emporia

Place is alright but it depends on your room then that's why but for my room there was one door on the closet broken and the fridge was not clean. Only go there if it is your last resort.

Changed rooms 4 times. every room was dirty had to sweep and mop myself once I got settled. House keeping goes in and makes the bed and changes the towels daily and does not clean at all. The rates are good but I want to go into a clean room. My closet smells like dirty socks. They should complete one room at a time and complete it 100% Hire a professional cleaning crew!

It took almost 50 minutes to get into a 208 room because door wouldn't open. Then I went back to office and no one came out to help me when l was standing there waiting. So l went out and two others men went in the man was right there having the same problem. The man reset the room key but didn't work. Then l went back and told man he needs to come open the door he couldn't so he called someone and when l went back another customer having The same problem with his two rooms. Then they gave me another room 253. The room was clean but the locks on the front door the extra safe latch was broke and bathroom lock broke no smoke detector. Only come here if you can't find a room at the other hotels. That's why l came here because l assumed l could get a room when l came home. All the other nice hotels was booked. This hotel only had a few car in the parking lot that should have been a sign. I asked for a late check out and and he agreed that was nice.

Well I'm sure we went here when the place was being renovated. But as of 01/14/21. This place is... something from "The Hills Have Eyes". If you can't keep going and end up here, keep going.
