I recently purchased my first Gravely mower from Planters & Designers. Hands down a fantastic machine. The whole staff are friendly, helpful people. I will continue to conduct business here in the future and I would recommend them to anyone looking for good quality lawn maintenance equipment, with good quality service!

Excellent place for all you lawn care needs. A lot better than home depot or lowes. The employees were knowledgeable on the equipment and answered any questions I had. This will be my new go to on my echo products.

My husband and I purchased our first Gravely zero turn today. Cody from Planters and Designers of Bristol VA was amazing from the honest information about the mowers to the easy purchasing process. Cody is full of knowledge about all the different models and is well versed in the pros vs cons of each model. He even stayed after hours to help us make our purchase. We have never had such amazing customer service before! My husband was able to mow our lawn in half the time he was mowing before. We love our Gravely and will always send people to Planters and Designers for their mowing machine needs!

I just purchased my first Gravely zero turn mower from Planters and Designers. I had looked at several other mowers from other dealers and I kept coming back to deal with Cody. He answered every question and was a pleasure to work with. He explained the difference and benefits of each class of zero turns. I purchased the 352 and mowed my yard this week and I was very pleased with the way the mower handled and cut. Quite a bit smoother than my previous zero turn. I purchased a Gravely ZTHD Zero Turn Mower. Cody was my salesman, he was absolutely amazingly awesome, he took the time to teach me every aspect of the mower in detail, made sure I was confident in operating it. He even followed up with me to see if I had any concerns, Cody is the one to see there!! Planters & Designers is the best, they treat you like family and take care of you! I absolutely love my mower!! They deserve a 100 stars!!

I went to Planters and Designers based on a referral from my cousin and I'm sure glad I did. I dropped my zero turn Cub Cadet mower off to get it worked on due to what i thought was engine trouble. Turns out i was wrong. It was an electrical issue with a switch that was grounding out. Let me tell you what. It takes one good mechanic to trace wires and find and fix problems like that. Cody is awesome. Dropped the mower off and took it home fixed after only 4 days and at an amazing price. I will be using these guys again if I need and small engine work done. They stand behind their work and they know what they're doing. I guarantee you wont find better services and definitely not at a better price.Thanks!

I bought a 42 inch zero turn Gravely a few months ago. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Cody Anderson and the staff at Planters & Designers are excellent. The service department is well organized and they work hard at making sure you get what you need and in a timely manner. The prices on everything are competitive with Lowe’s and Home Depot. I like it because I bought it there and I can get serviced and worked on there. That’s not going to happen at Lowe’s and Home Depot. The owner, Frankie, is very nice person and a Va Tech graduate. I couldn’t ask for a better place to do business.

I just purchased a proturn mower, my experience with Cody and all of the employees were excellent. They are very knowledgeable and accommodating to all of my needs. I was leaning towards exmark but the service and knowledge I received from Cody was far above those from all the other places I visited. I studied mowers extensively for over a year before purchasing a Gravely HD mower. I mow 2 acres of rough land. During that year I probably stopped by Planters and Designers @ least 10 times and talked to Cody. Each time I came in he was patient, understanding, and appreciative of the research I had done. He never gave me that sleazy salesman feel that I absolutely cannot stand. I started out with 5 mowers in mind: Toro, Hustler, Bad Boy, Bob Cat, and Gravely and eventually narrowed it down to the last 2. My decision was mostly made by dealer support. I only have 4.5 hours on the mower so far but I'm sure it will serve me well and if it doesn't I'm sure Cody will make it right. So if you're in the market for a new mower, chainsaw, or weedeater I would highly recommend going and seeing Cody @ Planter's and designers.

Excellent and friendly customer service! We have used them for repairs on Craftsman lawn tractor and weed trimmer. We have also purchased an Echo weed trimmer from them. They took the time for demonstration after purchase as well. Their pickup and delivery service is a huge bonus and very affordable.

I located Planters and Designers while travelling. I looked for a place to purchase small power equipment and found them on Echo's dealers site. They are a little tricky to find but well worth the search. I felt as if I was a special guest from the minute I walked through the door. They took the time to explain everything, including questions I didn't know to ask. Planters and Designers has become my new long distance local power tool store.
